In theory no, you shouldn't need to. But they way they did this in testing, those with multiple eligible stays were getting to customize bands for each. big waste for Disney.

The bands are re-usable for multiple trips and are good for 2-3 years for the battery component, which isn't required for anything important.

Well, I don't really want another band. I want to keep the one I'm getting for October and use it for the other stays. Maybe it will let me opt out of a band and order one for my friend, I haven't tried it for a reservation with multiple people.

In fact, they are probably more 'guest-friendly' after the battery has run down and only the close contact NFC elements are operating... less easy for general tracking data to be captured.

No, but I have 8 wonderful days planned I have 2 characters meets on 1 day, and 1 on maybe 3 or 4 other days..

*** I also have wishes and spectro magic on the same night.. Which I put as one of the highest prioities due to 1) you are garentteed a great spot and 2) my DD1 is not as much about waiting for things as I am .

Well, as Meatloaf said 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
We have only had problems with one of our MB. My DD had only a used 1 day park admission loaded on her MB. The rest of our party had 9 days, meal plan and FP+. The "only way" to remedy the problem was to give DD a card to use for park entry each day, eventually her FP+ and meals showed back up on her MB after 2 days. She has renamed MDE to My Derpy Experience. No sad faces here, having a blast!

Should I wait until my last day to do that so that I do not lose my fastpasses or does it matter? Also, is my calculations right to upgrade to those tickets it would be a total of $128 for four people.

I would love to know this. I couldn't find how so I scrolled over the FP+ section of my reservations, copied and pasted into Excel. It came out fine.

Anyone managed to get Illuminations at the end of October? Still very few November things showing

Not really the end of Oct but it was avail for Sun, Oct 20. I was wondering if it is really necessary for Illuminations. I guess you wouldn't have to stake out a spot quite as early.

You will on weekends, especially with F&W. It appears that it is an option fri-sun. I got it for our first night, which is a Friday.

During food & wine weekends, absolutely! It's nuts. Last year we said to heck with it & got out of dodge early. It just wasn't worth it for us!

Has anyone had any success recently with getting an FL res AP exchange certificate linked? I have renewed my AP's but have not been able to link the renewal certificate to MDE. We are staying at a test resort this month and got our MagicBands but are not able to make FP+ selections because we don't have "valid park admission". Any suggestions? I really would hate to have to wait until we get there to actually make our selections.

Okay Disney Gurus - - help me visualize what I need to accomplish:

We have the Magic Bands, and existing ride FP+ selections for several days starting 11/1 to 11/8.

Now, what I REALLY would rather have is: MSEP, Wishes, Fantasmic, and Illuminations. So -

When I go into MDE, I don't see those as an option, and in reading through this thread, its probably because its too early. Yes? I am assuming that when /if they are available they will be shown as an option.

If so, what is my best method of trying to secure them when they are released since I am stalking the list of FP+s every day.

Do I, change an existing FP+ that I want to change for a show to the time of a show at that park and then hopefully change the experience and it will become an option OR

Do I scrap my whole days existing FP+s and start fresh when I believe the shows are available? I hate to lose good selections, but I would risk it if I had to.

Also - I noticed if you are in your MDE Itinerary (lets say HS for 11/1) and you click on the right side where the wish list link is or the 'add plans' at the top - - you can select Fantasmic from the list. When the Fantasmic Info Page opens, there is a link that is blue that says 'Fastpass Plus Offered'. But when I click on it, it just goes back to my general FastPass+ list.

When its an option, does it actually go through securing that Fantasmic Fastpass for you or no?

Any insight for my game plan is MUCH appreciated!

Would love to know this too. When I go on for 10/26 under parades it shows MSEP and it says FP+. If I choose that it goes back to regular FP + but doesn't show MSEP. Thoughts that it will at some point?

There are no parades/fireworks available after 9/28 (unless recent updates have occurred). Fantasmic! was just added this week for 9/29 and onward. Illuminations seems to be available for Fridays, Saturdays (Sundays I think).

So either they decided not to test in these months or they are still loading them into the system...I'm hoping for the second option comes true in the next few weeks.

So if I don't see wishes or parade available for 9/25 or 9/26 then that means they are all booked up? I see Fantasmic and illuminations available for that week but nothing at MK.

we are staying at Kidani 10/23-11/3, I decided to check tonite after the all day down/system update. We are able to book FP+ and our magic bands!

Must be expanding the test or opening to all now

I found under add to my plans and chose parades.

Our bands came today. Staying at POR. We were told by the agent we might get a chance and sure enough ... here came the email. We're pretty excited ... and we actually got FastPlus+ to work!
