I found under add to my plans and chose parades.

That's not reserving a FP+. That's just an option to add something to your plans - sort of like a "things I want to do" list.

There is no MSEP or Wishes available after September 24th. It's not that it's sold out, it just hasn't been made available.

You don't have to scrap existing FP+ to check availability. Just click on a day from the FP+ screen, choose a day (even if you have existing FP+ for a different park), then choose "Select or Replace", choose your party, and choose MK (or any park you want to check). If something isn't there, it isn't available to you, and it doesn't matter what you do to your existing FP+, there's nothing you can do to make it magically appear.

If you then cancel, no changes will be made to your existing FP+.

BOG isn't under FP+. It's on a separate site (beourguestlunch.disney.go.com). You'll need a 10 digit confirmation number (either from your Magical Express tickets or from your Magicband confirmation page) to log in and check for availability.

What is confusing is when I chose it, knowing it wasn't under the fast pass plus options, on the screen when it describes the parade it says fast pass plus. Here's hoping the option for either MSEP or Wishes comes up for 10/26. I did get Illuminations for 10/25 so hopefully it is what some are saying that it just hasn't loaded yet or the won't do it for the test. I am good either way!

So I am just beyond frustrated at this point :headache:

I called IT and explained about my linking issue and the CM asks if I bought my tickets from UT then proceeds to tell me this is why I can not link them as UT tickets will not link and if I get an "invite" to participate in FP+ I will need to go to guest services in the park to have them set up FP + for me.

Bite me Disney! In other words buy your tickets from Disney or else. In all the years I have been visiting WDW and DL I have never felt like I was being pushed aside before or treated like a second class guest but that is how I feel at this moment.

I am ready to cancel my entire trip! :furious:

Call again and talk to someone else. UT tickets can link fine. You SHOULD be able to do it on the web site, but it depends if they are "paper" (old tickets) or "plastic" (new cards). You do that in two different places.

If they are old, you can also try scanning the barcode with the smartphone app.

If it makes you feel any better I bought my tickets directly through Disney and I can't link either. I was told there is still a problem with Florida resident vouchers. So we can be second class citizens together ;) and NOOOOO you have worked far to hard on this trip to just cancel it!!! HUGS my friend!

There are others who can't link too! Not just UT tickets. I had an Premium Annual Pass (PAP) and in May I had to go to the Odysey Building and exchange it for a new RF Green PAP. I did so, now only to find out that those exchange PAP can not be linked to MDE, or even affiliated with my account. Now if you had bought a new Green PAP after it started, like my daughter and her family, those could be linked to the MDE, but not the exchange ones. I called IT and was told there was an issue linking the exchange PAP. So I purchased my ticket from Disney and I can't link mine either. However, my DH is using a voucher to get a new PAP next month and I could link his voucher. Because of this I can reserve FP+ for him and was told that after I checkin and they manually link my PAP, I can be copied to his FP+. I did check on the "copied to another person" in manage FP+ and it was an easy process.

There are so many types of ticket media and people are having trouble linking so many of them. This seems to be a huge problem, judging by the fact that I was given a wait time of a WEEK for my issue to be resolved. That gives you an idea of how backed up they are. A week to program my tickets on to my account!
And my tickets are from Disney, they are just on KTTW cards. It seems they rolled this out before they had the ability to add many different types of ticket media. So I don't think it's an issue of Disney valuing the guests who bought their tickets from them more.. because I bought my tickets from them and still can't do it.
Once again, I think it's just an issue of rolling out a system that still had huge holes in it. You'd think if you were making it a requirement that you add your tickets to your account to access fastpass+, that your website would be ready to take them. Nope.

They haven't rolled out the system yet. This is a test phase.

There are no parades/fireworks available after 9/28 (unless recent updates have occurred). Fantasmic! was just added this week for 9/29 and onward. Illuminations seems to be available for Fridays, Saturdays (Sundays I think).

So either they decided not to test in these months or they are still loading them into the system...I'm hoping for the second option comes true in the next few weeks. :-)

Thanks. I spotted Fantasmic had come on but was hoping for Illuminations or Wishes. Still got time lol

Not really the end of Oct but it was avail for Sun, Oct 20. I was wondering if it is really necessary for Illuminations. I guess you wouldn't have to stake out a spot quite as early.

I just think at the moment my third fastpass is a waste at EPCOT hence wanted the Illuminations so I had 3 I'd actually use

I'm not sure why people are upset that their tickets NOT purchased through Disney are not working. Since the system is TESTING, there is no guarantee that anything will go right. None of us are entitled to the test.

If your discounted, third party ticket does not work on MDEx, call IT. Do they have to get to working before your trip? No. It's a test. Will they try? Possibly, since people will always buy discounted tickets and stay on property. But this is a test, Maybe this is the beginning of them figuring out who to offer FP+ to...

When all things are said and done... This is a test. A test where they find out the problems and TRY to fix them. Will everything go smoothly? Absolutely not. Its not supposed to. You can bash Disney all you want about something not going right with your bands or FP+ or linking your ticket.... IT'S A TEST! But they are working out problems and finding new problems everyday. This is why there are regular FP still available. Don't expect Disney to bend over backward during this test to get UT tickets to work smoothly. Nothing is supposed to go smoothly in a test.

For me, I'm glad they still have issues. That means, hopefully, it won't be rolled out for some time. I like my regular FP just fine.

I am aware of that. I guess I just figured things like being able to link a ticket that I purchased from Disney would be taken care of before they decided to test it. Again, that assumption was wrong. But it's frustrating to hear that so many resorts have been added and they are looking for a full roll out very very soon, when there are still these ticket issues.

The testers will be part of the solution. :) Good luck!

We are staying at the CBR between 10-13 October and just received the invite to participate yesterday! Magic bBands ordered :hyper:

I was able to link a UT tourist ticket, so what the CM told PP was incorrect.

Also... I know people are saying it's just testing, so it's no big deal if your tickets can't link, it doesn't matter. But right on the Disney MDE website it says:

"Whether you're involved in the test or not, be sure your tickets and Disney resort hotel reservations are linked to your account so you'll be ready for the magic the moment you arrive."

So if they don't want people to link tickets because the system isn't "ready" they shouldn't be encouraging people to do it!

I went back in March and exchanged mine and was able to link it to my account. Have you tried recently? I have a FL Seasonal though, not a PAP. The issue I'm dealing with now is the renewal not showing up in the system, so it thinks I don't have a valid park pass.

During the previous testing, when have MSEP, Fantasmic, etc come available. I made FP+ selections for my dates Oct 30-Nov 5 but didn't see them as selections. I"m trying to figure out how often I should check back.

I am staying at Pop in Oct and I have already been able to make FP+ selections for that trip. I have a second trip scheduled in Nov with my wife and 3 kids at the Poly. As of this morning I am able to make FP+ selections for myself but not the rest of my family. I spoke with IT this morning and they said that since the Poly hasn't been announced as being part of one of the test resorts for Nov that the rest of my family may not be able to get magic bands. Has anyone heard what resorts will be testing in Nov? And if so if I made a one night reservation at a testing resort for my wife and kids would they then be able to get FP+ for the rest of our 10 night stay?
