So does anyone know can you use your current rfid annual passes to swipe in for a FP+ selection or does it have to be your magic band?

I do not have Disney IT direct number with me - would someone please post it? Thanks!

Having issues with DS and DH not showing as eligible although MB's have been ordered. FP+ already booked no longer shows for them although mine still show. Not sure if DH getting the invite email even though the reservation is with my contact info has disrupted something.

Anyone managed to get Illuminations at the end of October? Still very few November things showing

I understand how FP+ will work with those staying on-site. You have a reservation with an arrival date and you can book FP+ 60 days out.

How will the people staying off site be able to book 60 days out? Disney will have no idea when you are traveling unless the phone app makes you enter your travel dates.

Also, those with AP will theoretically be able to go to a park any day of the year. Will they be able to make FP+ reservation for every day just in case they decide to go to a park on a whim?

Do you think Rapunzel is a must FP+? Or is the line short?

All charaters are long lines.. IMO I would get FP for all characters you want to see :D

I booked outpost in AK: chart spot twice in EP: and Rup, cind, and Ariel in MK (as well as story time with Belle) *

* note Mickey in MK, used to not count in FP for the sat it was like a freebee one, so I plan to pull that one from the park, and hope it is still the case..

** while you can still get paper ones in the park, and don't "need" to pull a Buzz pass, I would pull the ones you cannot get in the park easily.

Is there somewhere to see what FP+'s are being offered at each park and by category? I know this is sometimes in flux (eg. parades & fireworks being offered, not being offered) Also I've read that BOG is found somewhere besides the usual selection window for FP+'s? Is it included in your allotment of 3? We're outside of our 60 days, so I can't see any of this on the website yet, but I'd like to get an idea of how it's all set up so I can think about some planning. Thnx!
Go to "PAGE 1" of this thread. There is a pretty accurate list of FP+ options and a suggested ranking order of which ones to pick. :)

For Be our Guest lunch - it hasn't been counted towards the 3 FP+ during testing. Also haven't heard of any October testers getting a lunch FP reserved (don't think it has been available). The website is: beourguestlunch.disney.go.com

Rider swap info-------------

I spoke with a IT person today..
I ask about rider swap, and how it will be handled with FP+

She made it VERY clear "it will work the way it always has!"

Example..

DAD , MOM, DS(12), DD(4)

Dad take son on TT, they use their FP+

MoM can then take DD (4) and wait

MoM wants to ride TT.. Uses her FP+ and will be given the option to take Dad or son with her.. No extra FP+ needed...

Now what unclear is what if DD(4) has a FP+ for Disney jr.. She is allowed a extra guest?

Okay Disney Gurus - - help me visualize what I need to accomplish:

We have the Magic Bands, and existing ride FP+ selections for several days starting 11/1 to 11/8.

Now, what I REALLY would rather have is: MSEP, Wishes, Fantasmic, and Illuminations. So -

When I go into MDE, I don't see those as an option, and in reading through this thread, its probably because its too early. Yes? I am assuming that when /if they are available they will be shown as an option.

If so, what is my best method of trying to secure them when they are released since I am stalking the list of FP+s every day.

Do I, change an existing FP+ that I want to change for a show to the time of a show at that park and then hopefully change the experience and it will become an option OR

Do I scrap my whole days existing FP+s and start fresh when I believe the shows are available? I hate to lose good selections, but I would risk it if I had to.

Also - I noticed if you are in your MDE Itinerary (lets say HS for 11/1) and you click on the right side where the wish list link is or the 'add plans' at the top - - you can select Fantasmic from the list. When the Fantasmic Info Page opens, there is a link that is blue that says 'Fastpass Plus Offered'. But when I click on it, it just goes back to my general FastPass+ list.

When its an option, does it actually go through securing that Fantasmic Fastpass for you or no?

Any insight for my game plan is MUCH appreciated!

Note that this is not yet active, and subject to change:

If you have a valid MYW ticket registered in your profile, you will be able to book FP+ up to 60 days out, for however many days your ticket is good for. No reservation needed.

Thank you! I had seen that list, but wasn't sure how current that was and if it was official as to what you can pick since it is also the "ranking".

So you can only chose 1 FP+ from each category, correct? So, say for example you are at AK and neither of the "C" attractions interest you, you can't select another one from the "A"'s or "B"'s instead?

Those ranking were created here on the DISboards. When you make your FP+ selections using MDE, you can pick any three attractions that are available at that park.

Ah, great! It's obvious I have a lot of FP+ catching up to do! I remember reading several months ago that in the initial testing the attractions had been divided into categories and testers were only being allowed to pick one FP+ from each category.

I just ordered a band for an October stay. I have other stays in November (at 3 different resorts) and in December. Do I have to order a new band for every stay? If I want to order one in November for my friend who is staying with me, do I have to order another one too? Or can she order her own through the site?

Until full roll out its very unclear. I would assume that when you purchase tickets you would also have the Magic Band option and then you would order it with the tickets. Just my opinion mind so no realy idea so please don't flame!

In theory no, you shouldn't need to. But they way they did this in testing, those with multiple eligible stays were getting to customize bands for each. big waste for Disney.

The bands are re-usable for multiple trips and are good for 2-3 years for the battery component, which isn't required for anything important.

So does anyone know can you use your current rfid annual passes to swipe in for a FP+ selection or does it have to be your magic band?

Are you referring to the use of the FP+ kiosks/screens in the parks? I didn't try anything with those during my visit. I did use my current annual pass in the regular fastpass distribution machines in order to get the paper fastpasses.

We are arriving 10/5 and staying at All Star Music Family Suite. We do NOT have access to fast pass+ or Magic bands yet. Anyone arriving at All Star Music early October get FP+ or magic bands? I'm reading all this about resorts being live in October but not for us!
