I just find soccer boring and a bit like watching paint dry. Various people enjoy different sport whether it be F1, NASCAR, Indycar, golf, baseball, basketball, football.......etc. I think most people watch the sports they enjoy, not to boost ratings. Also have NO idea how anyone measures the number of people watching when a typical cable company feed might include 200+ different stations.

Just to let you know, tonight's match will be anything but boring. If you remember the Canada/USA NHL 4 Nations Faceoff, this match will be even more action packed. I encourage you to give it a chance tonight uf you have the time to tune in.

Buzz, what was your impression of the officiating last night? I watched the whole match and could never get an idea of where the line was for the referee. Some things that looked like obvious fouls to me weren't called and things that looked exactly like what had been allowed to go without a call previously were called quickly. The handball in the box looked like a no brainer call to me, especially on replay, but wasn't called.

The referee was a true definition of being "concacafed". Mexico should have had a red card and we should have had a penalty. But such is life in concacaf.

Just wanted to follow up that I was able to watch the first half and got the fam excited. Wasn't able to watch the 2nd half due to "mom bedtime duties" so I was disappointed when I saw the final score!
