You're absolutely right Doc-I've got a few people about to go in another thread for FP+ users-one person did a test back in December and said it was HORRIBLE and so not worth the hassle. The way it looks(after talking to an e commerce rep @WDW last night) is that early to mid 2014 seems to be the "full rollout dates to be determined but most certainly it will be fully operational by your stay in September 2014"

Been seeing by FW ... How much roll out? Who knows....

Has anyone else noticed if you click on FP+ on the MDE drop-down menu, then more info and then the link to schedule (located inside the article on using FP+), that you get a scheduling screen? The only thing that stinks is a pop-up blocks me using it right now, but it is interesting to see a set-up. I noticed it after online check-in today for my Sept. stay at YC.

Just tried it. Gave me a message saying one of the party members must be within the window. Then kicked me out, but nice to know its there. Hopefully, this means when it gets closer to our stay we will be able to makes selections. Since the traditional fp link just kept kicking me out telling me I had no tickets linked which I do. I also haven't checked in online, so I don't think that's a requirement to get to that screen.

Yeah, I saw it prior to checking in, hoping it would make that pop-up disappear. Alas, it didn't. But I will check it regularly to see if that message finally disappears!

I don't think it's going to disappear until the Sept people get invited to test or the whole thing goes live which I'm praying is not in Sept. I'm fine with testing if I can make my fp reservations in advance or just using the old system. But being at Disney the first month the whole thing goes live just sounds like a nightmare to me.

I actually wouldn't mind testing it out, especially after we tested the BOG FP in May. I don't mind being a guinea pig since this will be our "laid back" trip. Now, having headaches in November, that's a different story.

All y'all seeing the FP+ icon on the site or on the ap.

I see it on the site but not on the app.

Which doesn't seem too odd to me since I have found many differences and glitches between the two. For instance, I can only make ADR with the site not the app, but I can only cancel ADR with the app and not on the site. Makes it fun to change reservations. I need both my iPad and computer. Also, I could only put my ticket info in with the app, but had to link it all together with the computer.

So much for MDE making things easier. I've spent more time planning this trip than any other, and I still don't have it all figured out since I'm still waiting to see if FP+ testing will be part of our trip or not. We are staying AK in mid Sept so I'm thinking 50/50 chance it will be.

So here's a question that I haven't seen the answer to or maybe it was alluded to but I missed it. For those using the FP+ system right now, are you entering a ride@ the same location as those people with regular FP or are there now 3 separate entries (FP, FP+, SB) for rides? Just wondering how this will affect FP lines, as we'll be down there from 8/3-9 but not at one of the testing properties.

Nightowl Im also having the same issues. I have a question. I scanned my tickets in with the app but now on website it shows there are tickets but it says, in red, no additional info available. Is there something else I need to be doing on there? You mention you had to link them all together?? Thanks.

Ok it's been a few weeks since I did this, but I scanned all the tickets in, and either they were all automatically assigned to me or I had to assign them to me, sorry can't remember. It took forever and lots of trial and error to figure out. Then I had to make sure all my party was in the system. Next I had to set each as a person I travel with. Then I had to go in and link each ticket to a person.

They will only show up under tickets, not cards or magic bands, and every time I log onto the site, I get prompted to add my tickets and link them so I can use FP+ even though I'm not eligible to test yet and have already put them all in.

I also have issues with it giving me that error message randomly. I can always see a list of my tickets, and who they are assigned to on the app, but half the time nothing comes up on the computer.

What really confuse me is that when I select an individual ticket on the app it shows who it is matched to, but then displays a "match this ticket" button below that making it seem like it is still unmatched.

The whole thing just seems like a big mess to me right now, with a lot of bugs still needing to be worked out.

Hi! Will I be able to customize our Magic Bands and select FastPass+ rides through the app once it roles out? I cannot access MDE on the computer but it works on my phone.

I'm getting the FP+ screen only on the desktop site.
What is driving me crazy is for as long as Disney has had log ins for its site, they have always asked for "user name or email" to get into one account. My one account is now two separate ones, and one has my September ressie on it (bouceback made by Disney at Disney) and my husband's AP (not sure how that got there) and the other has my DVC membership, all my dining and my and my son's APs on it.
I've called IT and was only told I could friend myself and my husband's account until the accounts cleared out of ressies and ADRs for upcoming stays and then they could delete it. None of the ressies, ADRs or APs could be moved to another account, according to them.
To add more to it, I had booked a (now cancelled) BLT studio on DVC.com with my log in, but my husband as the main guest, and the ressie went to his Disney account he has not used in about 10 years just because he was the primary guest (once again, booked with my DVC log in). I then had to use his account to book dining at 180 days out, so BOG (the only ADR I could not rebook) is on that account for a stay I rebooked to GFV, still with DVC but with myself as the primary guest and now booked under my "good" MDE account. Aaahhhh!!!

You enter the FP line. At places like Pirates where there was no FP lane, they've now converted the ride so the right hand side is now the FP lane and it merges near the loading area with the SB line and you can be sent to the left or right at the merge point.

This was one of the issues I had with the MDX. Spent several phone calls with the IT department before it got fixed. I will say that it IS fixable, they eventually managed to delete the account with my username and consolidated everything under my email....but it took a while and I stayed on the phone with them the whole time. The (almost) funny part was that for a bit, there was only one account, but several of my reservations were viewable but not changeable.

I will say it MIGHT be easier to just remember to use your email for anything in the future, and after the username reservations have passed have them delete that account. (what they recommended). But it is possible to have it all done now.

I received our MagicBands via UPS today - they are so cute! Now our vacation seems even more real!

Thanks! I'm thinking of waiting until the trip is over in November and just delete all accounts that are not my email. I was the most worried about about this September stay since it is the one that is the most scattered over accounts, but if FP+ isn't launched in time, not a huge deal. Hopefully if it is launched or we would test it, it wouldn't be that big of a deal either.
I've also noticed that under "my magic bands and cards," not only are our APs there, but Keys to the Kingdom cards for each person, corresponding to our upcoming stays. IT told me those would be used for FP+, eventually, and as long as one AP is linked to my account, not to worry about it. But once again, cards are on one MDE account and one resort reservation on another.

Well that totally stinks. We've never waited more than 10-15 minutes standby on POC (and we go during BUSY times of the year) because there are two lines and we plan it out to go at less busy times of the day. This was one ride where the "go left" rule usually worked out really well. Now EVERYONE standby will be going left!
