My Trip to the 2013 D23 Expo - That's a Wrap!

I was thisclose to the Sorcerer's tickets...my Mom's voice was echoing in my head, screaming "NO!" as my mouse was clicking near it. *G*

Good luck with the shopping. I've decided that if it's meant to be, I'll find one after the Animation Arena panel.

Our first stop was the Dream store. There were plenty of Harvey bags today, but with the way folks were picking them up they will go fast.

We all can't wait to get to tomorrow and especially for you and Fran since you will get to be at the D23 Expo on Thursday for the Sorcerers preview. Hope you and Fran have a great time on Thursday. I still need to get my bags packed as well since we will be leaving tomorrow morning. I will be heading first thing in the Dream Store on Friday.

We're waiting to take our tour of the show floor right now! Pretty exciting!

At like midnight? You live 30 minutes away.

I never said it made sense, but the house inspection went until 5PM. I was all packed, but Fran hadn't done a thing, so first we had to pack, then we had to load the car. I think we left the house at 9PM and then had to go back, by the time we actually got to Anaheim it was 11PM so well before midnight!

If anyone snaps a picture of Doc McStuffins on sunday at the disney channel booth, can you please post it. I'm hoping it mean she might come to the parks! I hope everyone has a great time!

Great to hear you got a good room! It's off to a great start sounds promising already re those Harvey bags. Sounds like there is no room for decision making though if you want it get it right then and there! The amount of times I have hesitated to come back later to an empty shelf of sold out items and DW look of 'told you so' . Have a great time today! Hope you start up with a decent sized breakfast to power you through the morning!

I did see a pluto today at the Mickey's of Glendale in the stuff of the pins with a sorcerer's hat. I don't know if she bought one to sell on eBay or not.

OK, so I haven't posted any pictures from the actual expo and I will do my best to do so before I fall asleep tonight, but I doubt it will happen, with all the stuff I am writing, I am getting tired and when our food delivery arrives, I will probably eat and tub and go to bed. I will give you some spoilers from the Expo so far.

OMG!!!!!!!!!

If yesterday wasn't an incredible enough day, we shopped til we dropped!!!! Between the Dream store and the Disney store we did some serious shopping damage! I took pictures of a lot of the stuff we pre-ordered as well as purchases that we got on a whim.

Brandi, I bought the Dooney bag for you with the perfect placement of the Prince cartoon. If you don't want it, I'm sure we can sell it on eBay! I may have a Harvey seat belt bag to sell, I'm not sure I want two and I bought a second one at the preview. I only want one, I just need to figure out which one I like better.

We got to see a lot yesterday, and we went non stop from wake up to sleep time. Those of you following the house report know I posted a quickie over there, but that was only because I had uploaded those photos before we left home. I still have to upload the photos from Thursday before I can show you anything.

Today (Friday) was amazing, we went directly to the Animation Presentation which started half an hour late because they took too long to load the Arena, and went an hour and a half over, but anyone who left was a fool. It was an amazing show and I will tell you all about it. I took 15 pages of notes just to remember, but it was one of those where they took away your phones and stuff. We checked them up at the Sorcerer's lounge so I wouldn't have to go all the way back to the hotel.

After that we went to Mickey's of Glendale and spent a whole lot of money! Then Fran went to the Collector's area, we ran into Bret and his aunt and we all caught up on the events we had been to. It was really nice to see someone in 3D and catch up we met up again in the silent auction area and chatted a bit. Fran really wants Si and Am for our new house, but we'll have to see how high they go, right now they are only at $750. She may forgo the Legends Ceremony to be there for the end of Si and AM.

We went to the Imagineer reception for the Sorcerers and then to the Broadway and beyond show, Amazing! I will update as I can!

Are any of your cats siamese btw? Si and Am cool beautiful cats siamese. Very 'chatty' I lived in a house with one called Sydney. He use to sit on the stairs and 'talk' all day lol. Loudest meow I ever heard! Cute.
