Here is my day plan… I want to know if it's time efficient. Your opinions and recommendations are much appreciated! :goodvibes

MORE INFO:

My brother's GF has never been to DCA and she wants to ride GRR and probably Soarin'. She does not like roller coasters much, but Mulholland Madness will probably pass. Screamin, is for my brother and I. MaliBoomer (first timer :goodvibes) and Tower of Terror (third timer :goodvibes) is mine… They can use their time, when I'm riding my rides, taking pictures.

Is my plan good or bad? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

What time of year are you going? And what about Toy Story Midway Mania?

Uhhmm… We're going this Monday. We've just been there last sunday (August 1) and the line for Toy Story Mania is HUGE… it took us over an hour to get to the ride. If my brother and his GF wants to ride that, I'll split from them and I'll just ask them to call me whenever they're done lol.

Remember once in the park one person can take all the ticket and get the WoC FP. Maybe you should send the other two to TSMM then?

Also remember that ToT also has a FP and it is worth getting.

You can fit a lot more into your day. You've got some pretty big gaps. 45 minutes for Soarin??? Use a fastpass.

Toy Story is totally do-able, but I'd recommend doing it right at 10:00 if possible.

DCA gates actually open at 9:30. Soarin is open, and you can get a WOC fastpass. I'd line up early so you're one of the first through. Grab a WOC fastpass first, then a Soarin fastpass before heading to Toy Story.

Yea but again, you can only get a limit of 2 FastPasses at a time, and only get a second one on the time listed on the 1st fastpass. it's gonna be a hassle because of all the FastPass attraction being scattered around the park.

EDIT: I'm not gonna be repeating ToT… I got Maliboomer :D

I Also don't think we're going to be repeating Soarin'.

I agree with the PP... go in at 9:30 (means you better line up earlier than that!!) Grab your WOC FP, then ride Soarin, then go straight back to TSMM and ride that (don't know if they still do this, but they used to line everyone up and then let everyone head back to TSMM at 10, we always had time before to get on Soarin 1st, and then the TSMM line at 10 was only 10-15 minutes.) Then Screamin + get Screamin FPs for later! Then I would come back and do Grizzly if you don't mind being wet--or bring ponchos. Phew... that should get you to around 11:15-11:30 in the morning I figure.

Nope, not yet. Do you understand that your WOC FP does not prevent you from getting another FP right away? Also that they have Soarin operating before the 10:00 park opening time? So you can go get your FP for WOC color then go to Soarin and ride it and that both these things can be accomplished before 10:00 am. If you love Soarin you can ride it and pull a FP (at 10:00) to use later. Then I would go get in line to head to TSMM (back over by GRR) so when the rope drops (at 10:00) you can go there next. by the time you get off of TSMM check to see if you can pull a FP for Cal. Screamin (assuming you got a Soarin FP). if not ride Screamin first, then pull a FP for later, then go do MM or Maliboomer.
You have alloted an hour and 15 minutes to ride GRR at 10:00 I do not understand this, unless you are planning to ride it several times. This line moves fairly quickly and most people do not want to start their day by getting drenched. If you want to do this ride so early in the day, I think you will be done with it by 10:15. Unless it is really hot, I try to do my GRR back to back so I do not end up being soggy most of the day. Also, because you can get drenched on this ride, I do not recommend doing it right before you are going inside to watch Aladdin for 45 minutes.

If you really want to ride GRR later, and they aren't handing out FP, you can consider doing the single rider line. If you don't mind being split up, that line goes really fast.

I'd also head straight for the WOC queue as soon as you get off Monster's Inc. I wouldn't wait until 7:30 with a fastpass.

You also might be a little tight with Mickey's fun wheel and the Maliboomer. Sometimes at 4 PM the Mickey wheel line can be incredibly long, but you might be lucky too!

Uhmm… we take the non-moving gondola, since my brother is a bit scared lol… but I've made up tree plans… I dunno how to post them all up with taking up too much space…

Uhmm… what time does the park really open? Because see on the website that it opens at 10AM.. :confused3

How's the GRR line in the morning?

How about this…?

10:00AM: Get World of Color FastPasses

10:20AM: Ride Grizzly River Run (2x)

11:10AM: Ride Toy Story Midway Mania

12:15 PM: Get Fast Passes For and Ride Soarin' Over California

1:10 PM: Ride California Screamin' (Single Rider) (2x)

1:45 PM: Ride Mickey's Fun Wheel (Eat if Possible)

2:20 PM: Ride MaliBoomer

(Eat if there's time and was not possible to eat at Mickey's Fun Wheel)

2:45 PM: Get Tower of Terror Fast Passes

3:05 PM: Watch Aladdin @ the Hyperion Theater

4:00 PM Ride Soarin' Over California (Using FastPasses)

4:30 PM Ride Tower of Terror (Using FastPass)

5:15 PM Watch Pixar Play Parade

5:45 PM Ride Mulholland Madness

6:10 PM Ride Monsters Inc.

6:45 PM Free Time (Pics, snacks, etc.)

7:30 PM Go to World of Color Queue

DCA opens at:
-9:00 for DLR resort guests only (staying at GCH, DLH or PPH) to get WoC FP
-9:30 for everybody to get WoC FP, get Soarin FP or ride Soarin
-10:00 for everybody to ride anything

So my recommendation is that you get there before 9:30, get WoC FP ASAP. Then immediately after that get a Soarin FP (you are able to do this because getting a WoC FP does not limit you from getting another DCA FP). Then if you can do this all before 10 head for Toy Story immediately. If you can't, then maybe go to GRR first; TSMM's line will be a consistent 45 min from about 10:10AM-10:10PM.

I don't know why you are insisting on GRR 1st?? do TSMM first and then come back and ride GRR, TSMM line will be worse then the GRR line, especially if you do it second. Just flip those two... trust me it will save you a ton of time (I know you don't believe it, because you think you are backtracking, but they will walk you over to TSMM so you'll get on right at or close to 10.) Plus GRR isn't open before 10 as far as I know, just Soarin is...
