My Top 40 Best Kept Disney Secrets!

If I had the cable that connects the printer to the computer (new computer and I was in such a hurry when I bought it I forgot to grab it), I would print the list out now. I guess it will have to wait until I get home.

I'm sorry, but who or what is Devine?
I love Devine!!! She's in costume like a plant and blends in, very cool.

And how hard will it be to find the little red button that squirts water in Italy? As many times as I've been thru WS (some trips every day), I've never noticed that.

I was at Epcot yesterday, and actually looked for this, but couldn't find it. :confused3

Anyone else know?

I would also like to know about the bench in France! Has anyone experienced this? :confused3

These are great, Thanks!!

We found the buried jewels at Aladin's ride when we were there in June. My 4 yr old discovered them and cause a traffic jam as he tried so hard to dig up a diamond for me. :rotfl: I finally had to pick him up and drag him away because he was not going to leavethe "buried treasure" alone.

Please tell me about the buried jewels at Aladin's ride...I've never heard of it before this thread (and believe me, I spend hours each day on the DIS!!)

They are cemented into the pavement around Aladdin's Carpet Ride - very frustrating for little treasure seekers! My DD4 was so upset that she couldn't get one up, she tried a five-finger discount on some at the shop next door - thankfully, she's not a very good thief, so I found them before we made it out of the shop. :rotfl:

Another thing to look for in MK is the partyline telephone in the last store on Main st.When you pick up the reciever you can hear ladies gossiping.

I asked a CM where this was and she looked at me like I just kicked her in the face....I never did find it. Which store is it in? Last one on the right?

Thanks for the lists!!!

A friend of ours was at WDW in June and he was told by a CM that they no longer allowed people to ride in the front of the monorail. Has anybody been since then and rode up front? I am hoping this is not true. :sad2:

Sandra

In May we rode in the front of the monorail...I had no idea you could do this but a little girl in line with her mom asked the "pilot" if she could ride in front, he agreed and then she invited my boyfriend and i to ride with them. It was fun even though we didn't have far to go!

Which one? Two days ago, we saw the Micky leg in the first part of the gangster scene, the profile in the second, and the hieroglyphics in the Indiana Jones scene!

IndyJammer, where exactly is the Mickey leg in the gangster scene? I've seen or heard of the other two, but this is a new one on me!

Here's the official Barrett Description (Taken from HiddenMickeysguide.com):

In the gangster area of the Great Movie Ride, there is a big poster for the Public Enemy. Just below the poster is the bottom part of a Mickey Mouse poster (you can only see his feet). The Public Enemy poster appears to be placed over the Mickey poster.
----------------
My description would be that it is the first part of the GMR Gangster scene - on the left of the ride vehicle. It is on a billboard-type poster space - with the "Public Enemy" poster kind of just plastered over other posters. One of the posters that it covers on the bottom left would be a Micky Mouse - you only see one foot (or yellow shoe) along with a tail. (I know that I have a picture of it - but I CANNOT find it right now!)

Here's another DIS Hidden Mickey Thread with lot of pictures (just not the one that you want!):

They have been removed a long time ago. They were fun. There were red buttons around the garden and when you press it it would squirt water in a completely different location and surprise people.

The list took some time to compile, but many of the things don't exist anymore.

I remember the partyline ladies gossiping from when I was a kid (in Disneyland I think) but I didn't see it last time I was in WDW.

When I was there the gangster one was gone completely.

The experience you get on the Great Movie ride alternates between gangsters and cowboys. It depends upon which 'carriage' you travel in.

Really?? I've been on it several times and have always seen both sections....do you mean sometimes they interact at the cowboy area???
