We LOVE it!

sounds crazy right? its just parking... Last weekend was our first time at Us, and i was curious as to how the parking garage would work. We got to the parks early both days, and parked on the ground floor, right by the walking bridge...up 2 floors and in....sooooo much easier than parking 2 counties away, and riding the infernal tram after listening to a safety speech in 2 languages....
plus, i like the car not sitting in the hot sun all day...

I agree plus free parking for FL residents after 5pm, and as a pass holder I can upgrade to preferred (not sure if that's what they call it) for $5. Not to mention bag check is centrally located once you exit parking area.

We love it too except that it really is a LONG walk to the garages after a long day in the parks. But it was nice to get in a car that hadn't been cooking all day.

I love it too. I love hearing the theme music for wherever we are. It gets me jazzed up for the day.

Have not been in the garages in many years, but its better than Disney for sure. I like staying onsite and taking a stroll back to my room at RPR, pure pleasure.

Right on! For me, its about time spent not effort expended. I (we) walk fast enough. I'd rather walk than wait, makes me fell like I'm helping myself rather than complaining about someone/something else I have no control over.

I did treat myself to valet parking with an annual pass back in 2011, and it was nice, but you still had to wait for them to fetch the car at the end of the day. Wasn't much faster, though there was less walking.

Agreed - it's so much better than WDW, especially DTD!

However, I will say if I arrive later in the day, there is usually no one parking the cars and it becomes a bit of a mess to find a space. If you turn down a row and there are no spaces, then you must circle back to the exit to come down the next row, since all rows run in the same direction.

Overall, it's a great way to park though!

Question about valet parking... how late is this available for? Can I stay at the City Walk bars for a while after the park closes & still do it?

I believe valet is open late. Can't remember. Definitely used it well after park close (6pm?) when we went to a restaurant (8pm?). I'd expect they make more money during the evening from clubbers who don't want to walk.

I'll be on saturday, march 30. I know it will be crowded, very busy. But I've been there before so I'm not going to all rides. I'm staying at a Kissimmee hotel. I got a park-to-park ticket, so my plan is go to IOA in the morning, and US at afternoon, cause I want to see Pat Benatar concert since I'm a fan.

Forbidden Journey is a ride I've not seen yet so it's my main interest. So I think it'll be my first stop. IOS opens at 8am, at what time opens the parking? at what time I should be at the parking entrance, so I could be within the firsts cars in the line, park easy and then walk fast to the IOS gate?

I've read Forbidden Journey is less crowded at the end of the day but I want to see the concert at US anyway, it's a must to me, so that's not an option. That's why I'm planning to go to FJ very early. What do you think? What do you suggest?

i'm thinking 45 minutes prior to the garage opening.

you will have to wait, but think about all the cars behind you that arrives 15 minutes prior to park opening........

unless it changes for spring break, the garage opens one hour before the parks.
