I just wanted to ask you all to keep my supervisor at work and friend "C" in your thoughts and/or prayers. She's just in her late 20's and is scheduled for a kidney transplant sometime within the next couple of months. Amazingly, her sister is a perfect match, so there's a miracle! She only found out of her kidney troubles when she was about 17, by pure coincidence. The drs told her within 20 yrs she'd need a kidney transplant, however, this summer her working kidney began failing fast, and she's at about 12 percent function currently. She has three hours of dialysis every other day. Yesterday she spent the day at the hospital with blood pressure of 230 over something or other....seriously, it was that high top number that sticks in my head.
She doesn't want to admit defeat, if you will, and acts as if nothing is wrong. She's an amazingly strong person and definitely needs good thoughts and prayers right now.
Thanks guys...
