My SSR trip :)

Thanks for posting your live report! I will be heading out Friday am! See you soon!

Your not boring us! I think most of us thrive on other people's reports!! I hope the weather gets better for you and enjoy your trip ;)

Boring? NO WAY!!! I'm just way jealous you're there and we had to leave.
Keep up the report and wishing for the rain to end for you.

Just wanted to add "thanks for posting," and I got DVDs from Community in July 07.

Rain was on and off all day. My plans worked out as intended. We went back to DHS for a double dip on RnRRC, DW and DD did Indiana Jones and we finished up on Star Tours. We headed out of the park around 445ish and decided to hit AK for a few. We were able to get in the safari as well as Lion King by 7:15pm. We could have stayed for EMH but the dinner bell was calling us. We did Olive Garden on 535 tonight and I have to say the service in this location was very good. Plans are for rope drop at Epcot tomorrow and have most of what we want done pre WS by 1pm. Kids really want to do pool even if it's rainning. So after the long lunch we will finish in the countries. More to come tommorow...
PS
Two things of note just remebered.
When I was at the character meet and greet at DHS this morning some reason some woman came up to me and said you must be TGM subscribers. Not sure why she thought that.
I have yet to see any LGMH's anywhere. I chickened out of course but have been keeping a look out.

You are not boring us. Is the rain on and off all day?

We are now worried about Amtrak since they cancelled service for Tuesday, Wed. and limited service on Thursday.

Keep the report coming.

Rain is sporadic from heavy downpours to a drizzle. Has been the same since I got here. Looking out the window this morning is looking like pretty much the same thing for today.

Hello! A wave from over in the Paddock area! :wave2:

We have been here since saturday and leave on saturday. Not our best trip as I have been sick with a head cold and today ds13 has been throwing up...ugh. It is 11 and we still don't know what we are going to do. I told dd9 I would take her out if she wanted but she is content to sit and watch tv - go figure! We won dream ears on the carpet ride yesterday - way cool! The dream team members both tried to give this lady some ears but she pushed them away and angrily said - "I DON'T WANT THEM!" Wow!

We saw La Nouba the other night and it was AWESOME!!!!! Dh finally got to ride Everest but we still haven't been able to get on TSM. Hope the sun comes out a bit before we leave. Yesterday afternoon we were in the quiet pool when the sun came out for about 5 seconds!

Hope you enjoy your vacation!! :)

Lunch break
The rain slowed us down slightly this morning. We walked into the Land at 9:20 and got FP's for Soaring. Walked over to the Seas and did Nemo and Crush and walked around for a bit. Headed back the the Land did the boat ride and finished Soarin. Rain finally stop after leaving the Land. I sent the fam to Innoventions while I was getting FP's for Mission Space. On the walk I saw Test Track opened finally, so I called them over to me only to see the standby line go from 20-50 mins before I got in the door. We ditched and finished up Innoventions. We went back to Mission Space and while in the FP line DD got cold feet which caused DS to back out on me also. Least I got to make some people happy giving away my FP's. I FP'd Test Track on the way out and I have 330-430 which works because I'm keeping the promise to the kids and were are heading to the pool. I am grabbing a couple of cold ones now and heading down to do some laundry while they swim.

As luck would have it the rain kicked up just as we got out of the car around 4. It also got extremely windy. So we did Spaceship Earth as we walked in. On the walk over to Test Track only to find out out it close we broke 2 umbrellas in some very heavy gusts of wind. So basically we hit Mexico and Norway and decided to call it quits. DW convinced the kids Energy is a cool ride so we squeezed in one more on the way out. No one was up for any serious dinner tonight so we just did some quick fast food. Original plans were for MK tomorow but I think we're going to wing it and head to Universal for the day. The forecast doesn't look that great but at least the wind is supposed to die down. Surprisingly the weather still doesn't seem like it's slowling us down. Other than the kids missing out on some pool time and not doing the World Showcase we haven't skipped a beat.

Still rainny today
Might be my last update for a day or two being I'm checking out of SSR in the morning being I didn't have enough points for the entire stay.
We headed over to Universal Studios for the day today and we tried out the counter service meal plan with our tickets today. As far as the park is concerned for my two kids US is well better geared for their ages than IoA. The kids truly enjoyed that day today depite getting wet the whole day. Aside from 3 rides they did not want to do we covered the whole park by 6pm with double rides on a couple of attractions. As far as the meal deal is concerned I would have passed had I known it was only 4 places in US. The food wasn't bad nor was it great. Doing the math I saved give or take $30. I think the fact they limited me to only those place with fixed deserts menus (the deserts were bad) is what turned me off. Least I got home at a good hour tonight ran my last load of laundry before leaving. I'm moving to the Double Tree on hotel plaza blvd. The internet access there is 9.95 a day. So I probably won't update this until Monday night when I need to check in for my flight Tuesday. My plan for the next few days is MK tomorow, Sea World Sunday, Typhon Lagoon Monday and shopping in DTD before leaving Tuesday. Looks like weather will break by sometime tomorow..

Enjoy for the rest of your trip and thanks for reporting and checking in :)

It was sunny today!!!!!!!!!!! Well at least until 3 it was :goodvibes
Transition to the Double Tree went wery smooth and they had a room for me at 8am when I showed up. The 2 room suite is comparable to the 1BDR we have at DVC. For 99 a night I really could beat it.
We made it to MK exactly at rope drop. We were able to walk on just about everything we want to until about 1130am. At that point I started to FP some of the rides and saw wait times go into the 50 min range. We had FP'd Jungel Cruise around 230 only to have the skies open up and close the ride down. We made our way back to Tommorowland did a few more things and called it a day around 530 when yet another really bad t storm hit. Seeing the sun was great today but my kids said they liked it better in the rain because it wasn't as hot.:rotfl2: All in all everything going great still and off to Sea World in the morning. Next update should be Mondayish...

Being somewhat of a computer geek found some internet at the hotel ;)
It was sunny the entire day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long story short I didn't wind up going to Sea World but headed back to IoA and US. We used the final ticket of meal plan there and still feel the same way about it my post above. I'm feeling a little bit like a DVC snob at this point. I really miss SSR and know very well why I bought in 4 years ago. The heat was bearable today being lots of rides there keep you wet throughtout the day. Looking like a trip to Typhoon Lagoon tomorrow with sunny and hot all day..
