My six-year-old is running around the house in nothing but her Curious George panties. It is cold outside and it isn't all that warm in here, either.

My DD did this when she was 2 in the middle of a store

Is this the same son who makes you wipe his butt? Maybe he's giving you easy access?

On a serious note, many kids go through this. He'll grow out of it eventually.

WHEN??? When do they outgrow it?

My older son never really went through this, but my 4yo is a little nudist and streaker.

DH just came home from the grocery store carrying bags and left the front door open, and DS was out like a shot, prancing and running around in the grass.

DS6 comes home from school and leaves a trail of clothes from the door to the living room. He is in his undies by the time he hits the tv. He'd never be a good stripper. The clothes come off too fast

DS3 assumes this is normal, and insists on stripping down as well.

Sometimes they wear hats and carry weapons while in their undies. They are like mini, naked Village People.

I fear for the future.

I have a 5 yr. old who hates clothes. He understands now that outside of the house he must have clothes on at all times. It was not always like this. The best story is at McDonald's in the Play Place a child comes down and says, "Mommy! There's a naked kid up there!" Nooooooo! He was too hot and decided to take care of it.

But, when he comes home all clothes come off. The rule is that if anyone gets tired of looking at you they can request that he puts clothes on or he has to go to his room if he wants to stay naked. He seems to be getting naked less and less but he still sleeps fully nude even in the dead of winter.

I guess it is just him.

Same kid....he's also the one who had a battle with my bra. I love that kid to pieces, life is never boring in my house.

My mom always called my little sister "Mowgli", like from the Jungle Book, because she stripped until she was 4. After that, she was the exact opposite- had a fit if you tried to go into a public bathroom stall with her, wouldn't change in front of anyone else, etc.

I don't know about a movie, but I think I saw that on America's Funniest Home Videos. Maybe. I'm not 100% sure.

I have a 6-yr old nephew who is like that. Strips and shows off whenever he can. I asked his 8-year old brother if the 6-year old was always like this and his response, "Yes .... it's disgusting."

My youngest ds (6 yr. old) loves to take his clothes off. My oldest son (20 yr. old) swears that his youngest brother is gonna be a stripper! My middle son (8 yr. old) just shakes his head in puzzlement.

Ok the "Mini Naked Village People" had me in tears I was laughing so hard!

but my son, who mind you is 9, is standing here in his boxers! The child has never liked clothes...ever! Our family always says he is gonna be a stripper or nudist when he grows up.
My brother who now is 32 and thank god keeps his clothes on, did the same thing til he was like 10, so we are holding out hope!

OMG I am so glad to read this!! My DS7 does the same thing. The second he comes home from school/the grocery store/playing outside.......within 15 seconds he's in his underwear. DS4 of course thinks all boys do this and within 20 seconds he's the same way.
My parents asked if DH did it, assuming that's where they learned it. Of course not, I replied. At least not since the boys have been born..
