My son the stripper...

Mine is too young to take them off herself;) , but she's a happy baby laying there naked. She starts to fuss usually when I dress her.:confused3 .

Ok the "Mini Naked Village People" had me in tears I was laughing so hard!:rotfl: :lmao:

I swear it is true! I think I have a picture in my photobucket of them from a year or so ago. One is wearing a construction hat (Bob the Builder) and one is in a cowboy hat (Sheriff Woody). In their underwear.

Mini Naked Village People.

It's not just your kid.:rotfl:

DS is the same way, but only because we raised him that way.:rotfl: When he was younger, I let him run around in just his diaper because it was easier to keep his clothes clean that way. Now when he gets home from school or from going shopping, etc with us, he gets out of his clothes at the first available opportunity. I know to my MIL, this is a big deal but it's not a big deal to us. :upsidedow

A neighbor on our street was a new mom to a pair of 3 yo twin boys (their mom passed away from cancer) and was just adjusting from the long hours of mothering combined with the flu...

One afternoon my mom looked out of her front window and saw the two blonde boys walking down the hill in front of our house, hand-in-hand, buck naked. No mom in sight. :scared1: She ran out, rounded up the critters-au-naturel and marched their behinds back up the hill :rotfl:

Lol...good luck! DS(4) mostly just runs around naked after bath time, but the most recent "quirk" is that he is taking to peeing outside...you gotta luv boys!
I caught DS at the back door peeing on the patio, rather than going down the hall to the bathroom, and he did it almost every afternoon for a few weeks - he'd wait until I started dinner and would sneak to the back door. Then at my neice's bday party at a local park, he just pulled down his pants in the middle of the field and pee'd. I haven't caught him since it got cold, so I am hoping he has forgotten it now...:confused3

DN 2 years removed her shirt today. She found her nipples for the first time. She said, and I quote verbatim, "Ewww. Look. Look at that! Ew!" while she was kind of pointing to it and kind of poking herself in the chest. I said, "Yes, I see that" in a pleasant voice and she repeated, "Ew! Look at that!" Took everything I had not to burst out laughing.

I never had the problem with clothing removal to a great extent. But streaking was a big issue. Take the clothes off for a bath and they'd run for their lives. It was like they'd waited 50 years to be free of those clothes and run. EVERY SINGLE DAY. :faint:

What is up with that? My kids scream and run around naked when we say "bath time." Every. Single. Time. It can't really be that exciting, can it?

Maybe I should try the Batman Bubbles myself. :scratchin

Lara, I'd like to tell you that they outgrow this. Mine are 8 and 10, and it still doesn't surprise me to see them run around buck nekkid.

And we have a puppy that likes to bite at dangling things..

My nephews were naked boys until about 7 almost 8. Now at 9 one is modest and you can't look at him naked AT ALL. Literally you have to close your eyes to bring him a towel or close your eyes if he needs to tuck in his shirt.

The other still wants me to come and sit and talk to him while he's in the bath. We comprimised and I stay with in talking range but I don't hang out in the room with him.:rotfl: He is also the one who sleeps in boxers and that's it, nothing else and he kicks off his covers. However on the up side he was also my commando boy, but since he sleeps in the boxers he just gets up and pulls on pants. Saves me having to ask him "do you have on underwear" everytime we head out the door.

My nickname was "Naked Nellie" when I was growing up. Even now the first thing I do when I get home is take off my work clothes and put on comfies - loose gym shorts and big tshirts. My son is the same way - he comes home and changes into "soft" clothes or even strips to his underwear. I caught him the other day going out the back door to pee outside - he said it was closer than the bathroom (it isn't but it is a straight shot from the couch). I was wondering why the grass was dead in that area. :lmao:

Perhaps your child doesn't like the restriction of the clothes? Are they too tight or rub? Maybe big "soft" clothes as my son calls them would be a good compromise.

I expect this from the little stripper, but even my shy, quiet DS8 does this. Come to think of it, in DH's younger years he used to dance around the room nude before his shower in what I called his "dance of joy". I'm thinking it's genetic. Or hormonal ~ Blame the testosterone! :lmao:

Lara, he's a boy. It gives him easier access to the goods.

DS6 comes home from school and leaves a trail of clothes from the door to the living room. He is in his undies by the time he hits the tv. He'd never be a good stripper. The clothes come off too fast

DS3 assumes this is normal, and insists on stripping down as well.

Sometimes they wear hats and carry weapons while in their undies. They are like mini, naked Village People.

I fear for the future.

I love you all...thanks so much. I needed the laughs.

I have a nakie boy too. He's five. If he starts out dressed in the first place he will usually leave his shirt on, so he runs around in his shirt and underwear a lot. If he starts out nekkid...like when he gets out of the shower, he runs amok all over the house and I have to chase him down to get him dressed. I do NOT let him shower in the morning, because our ten year old neighbor girl comes over when her mom goes to work and goes to the bus with my kids...I don't think she REALLY needs to see my son streak every morning before school.

eta: He also stands/walks/runs around with his hand down the front of his underwear A LOT. This is my main battle right now. I spend a lot of time saying "Get your hands out of your pants!"

My DDs thing is socks and shoes... especially in the car!

Oh yeah, here too. Both my kids. Actually all three, but the third is an adult now and leaves her socks all over her own car and house. When I clean out my car I find a LOT of socks. All over the house, too.

I don't blame her..I don't like socks and shoes either.:lmao: I walk around barefoot A LOT, esp in the summer.
