I woke up the other morning to find that Jacob (2.5 years) had already waken up and had turned on the TV. He was sitting up beside me in bed, completely mesmerized by what was on TV. Looking at his face, you would have thought he was watching a kids' show, but he wasn't. It was an infomercial for the Magic Bullet. (If you haven't seen that one, it's a blender-type thing.) He was completely into the show, and he was saying, "Put the chicken in. Put the cheese in. Push the button."
I needed to nurse the baby and decided to let him watch the infomercial since he was so into it. He ended up watching that silly thing for another 5 or 10 minutes, until I turned the TV off. I was facing away from him, but I kept hearing him exclaim things like, "That's berries! That's yogurt!"
I guess I should cancel my Tivo season's pass for the Wiggles and start recording cooking shows for him.
