And then the best QS of the trip.. Wolfgang Puck!!
I had wanted to eat there earlier in the week and it did not work out and since the original plan was the waterpark I thought I would be eating Blizzard Beach fare - I am so happy our plans changed...
I lamented our wasted free vouchers to DQ and after talking with DH we decided to go use them and have some fun our last day before the drive home.
So back to the point, lunch was at WPE. This was one of those places not on my radar until I saw all the great pics. It did not disappoint!!
DH and DS had the meatloaf. I managed to snag a forkful but that was about it, they were both in love. It was very good and those crispy onion rings were an awesome addition.
oldest DD had the chicken pesto salad sandwhich. She loved it , especially the pocket bread.
I had the barbecue chicken pizza. Delicous. The sauce was not too strong and a little bit of cilantro on top, not too sweet, nice and cheesy and a thin crust. I would get it again!
We also got a pesto pizza for the girls to split. Yum. oldest DD ended up trading off some of her pocket for a piece, delicious.
And as great as that is, the best was yet to come. For dessert DH wanted cheesecake but I had seen enough pics to know I wanted the crème brulee. I never had crème brulee before but that wasn't going to stop me.
So we ordered two cheesecakes and two crème brulees. I tasted a little bit of the cheesecake, it was fine. The kids ate it, since DH tried the crème brulee and was totally over the cheesecake. It was so delicious. It was buttery and creamy with sweet carmel-y crunchy bits. Honestly I was surprised how much we loved it.
The kids on the other hand - they were not impressed. They said it was like pudding with glass on it lol. Ah well, more for me and DH
