This is only my second post, but I have been lurking for a while. Earlier in the year we purchased a Land (4) / Sea (3) package for October. After doing a lot of research DW and I were excited about taking DD (3) to see the princesses and then this free dining offer came out and I simply could not resist booking a pre-trip trip (think of it as a recon mission – lol). We are now taking two trips to WDW with the first one beginning in late August (08/28) and the second one being the October Land/Sea package (10/16). We will be at POFQ for five nights and I have been trying to plan our meals under the (free) dining plan. I think that I’ve made some good choices, but if someone could look over my plan and comment it would be greatly appreciated. One thing that is missing is CRT because DW wants to save that for the October trip and I am in total agreement on that one. Breakfasts will probably be eaten in the room on most days.

08/27
On the road early in the morning and arriving in Orlando late evening
Find a hotel somewhere close (I was thinking about the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort)
Swim and Rest

08/28
Early check-in (just to get the park passes and meal plan)
Off to Animal Kingdom for the day (not an EMH park that day, so hopefully the crowds will be bearable)
Lunch – Tusker House (1 CS)
If we can get our room at 3:00 or so we will go back to the room for a rest – if no room is available then:
Supper – Flametreee BBQ (1 CS)

08/29
Epcot (Early EMH)
8:50 Princess Storybook Breakfast - Princesses and an almost 4 year-old need I say more? (1 TS)
DW and I plan to snack around the world for lunch using cash mostly (sounds fun to grab a bite from a country here and there)
DD well I am almost certain we can find Mac-n-cheese or chicken somewhere in Epcot
If needed we can use a CS meal in the evening, but we will probably be full from our Epcot snacking

08/30
MGM Studios
Lunch - Probably Backlot Express (1 CS)
Supper - Possibly Boatwrights (1 TS), but we may not do that at all (0 TS)
(How can you really know what you will be in the mood for so far in advance?)

08/31
Magic Kingdom
An early-ish CS lunch at Cosmic Ray’s perhaps (1 CS)
5:15 PM Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show – Really mixed reviews, but hey it’s free (2 TS each)

09/01
Magic Kingdom
An early-ish CS lunch at Pecos Bill perhaps (1 CS)
6:00 PM Cinderella’s Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare – DD loves the princesses, really loves them (1 TS)

09/02
Departure Day
7:00 AM Chef Mickey’s – DD is not a huge Mickey fan but hey she saw her beloved princesses twice already right? (1 TS if we didn’t go to Boatwrights)
8:30 AM On the road home

I think your plan looks great!!!!!!! Enjoy your two trips, I'm jealous!!! ;)

Sounds good. I would probably pick the upstairs room at Columbia Harbour House for CS at MK. It is near Fanstasyland, where you will be spending time with your little one and the upstairs room has a nice view with good AC. I would also go for ABS Commissary at MGM for the nice cool room as well. Of course these are personal preferences and your choices are good ones too. have fun. You might try Priceline for your first night.

Thanks for the feedback - I had not heard of roomsavers that's a pretty cool site.

I may try Columbia Horbour House instead of Cosmic Ray's at the MK, so again thanks.
