My POP review

I loved it! I really did. I had a very good time there. I loved the resort in general. The pools were VERY fun . I had a blast with the little flower sprinklers and the kiddie pool area . My kids loved the kiddie pool area. I thought the bus service was superb! There was always buses ! I really like the hotel room. The way some ppl describe it on here you would think it was a closet but nope it had plenty of room for us! I also enjoyed the tv selections....ummm they have BET ! You can't go wrong with that. I realllllly love POP. I have no reason to even want to try to stay deluxe. POP was just perfect in every way for us . I dont think I can ever stay mod or deluxe ...unless it was heavily themed like Animal Kingdom .....but I just really love POP I can do a trip with no parks...just POP and DTD and me and my kiddos are happy as anything! Swimming...watch tv...go to the arcade... do the POP activities out front...a little DTD....a perfect vacation!!....well maybe MK for 1 day!

Completely agree! We just returned from our first stay at Pop and split the time with AKL. It was fantastic!! The pools were so much fun; we did all three just to try them out. The kids LOVED the arcade especially since you get tickets; not like AKL. We loved it!!!!!!! And we will definitely be back! We had a refurbed room in building 6!

Oh, I am so glad to hear this. I just switched from POR to POP. I thought 2 rooms would be better than all 5 of us in 1 room. I hope we like it as much as you did. Thanks for the review!

We've been going there for the last 4 years and really enjoy it! We've stayed at moderates and off site but Pop has the nice rooms, style and is alot of fun. And even on hot , busy , crowded days it is alot of fun to go back to!!!Each year we've been staying there longer and now we are up to 16 days!!

We check in 17 days from today and are staying 6 nights. I love hearing reports like there, even as it gets closer to summer and the place gets busier. So glad you enjoyed your time at Pop!

What decade was your building? Which one of the pools did you use?

We stay in the 50's section right near the lady and tramp dog. We were second floor lake side ! It was so close to the main building I thought it was preferred! I looked for the 90's building and it was sooooooo far I was like WOW I really lucked out! I did the online check in and told them I wanted to be close to the buses etc. It was the PERFECT location the only thing that could've made it better would be ground floor! We all swam in the main pool! We only swam in the bowling pin pool on the very last day because it was closest but yeah we loved the main pool. I didnt get a chance to try the petal pool bar but maybe next time ... I think next year Ill do pop and stay for 9 days and just spend a few days in MK and HS ...I didnt really care that much for Epcot and AK.
