Hi everybody!

Could anyone who has dne the Perfectly Princess tea fill me in on a few details?

If a child doesn't enjoy PB&J, can a different type of sandwich be substituted?

And what is the quality of the doll?

Thanks much! :)

I can't speak to the PB&J, but the doll is an actual American Girl Doll, if you are familiar with those they are of very high quality. There are only 2 stores in the whole country; New York and Chicago.

I am trying to book this for DD5 the week of April 24th - May 1st and it is completely booked. I call everyday hoping for a cancellation, but no luck so far. There is a 72 hour cancellation policy so I have my fingers crossed.

Dan, I don't know about the Tea, but is that a Boston Terrier Pup? I have one and love them! DD has one - don't love it so much (lol). How's yours?

The childs meal comes with PB&J and a ham and cheese sandwich, I guess you can ask for a substitution ahead of time. I have to disagree with the other post I don't believe that the doll is an American Girl doll. We have both and the Aurora doll has Disney stamped on it and a tag that says my Disney Girl Doll. The doll is the same doll that you buy in the Disney stores that they sell all of the princess costumes for. Trust me I will be doing this again, but you are paying for the atmosphere and experience. The bracelet is cute but cheap and same with the tiara.

I heard that this tea is quite expensive, true? What makes this tea so special, and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way. Anyone have an overview that you'd like to share?

My Boston is the best thing that's ever happened to me as far as a dog is concerned!! Her name is Lucy and she's obedient, GREAT with children, stays close by without a leash, no medical problems to speak of!

In fact, my wife had to have her last dog put down. We're a two dog kind of household, so when it came time to get another, we fell in love with ANOTHER Boston, so now I have two and the new one has not disappointed. He's a GREAT dog! (incidentally, yes, we heeded the advice of so many and named him Desi - do you know how many times we heard "You should get another and name him Ricky or Desi!!!!!")

And to everybody else, thanks so much for all the helpful advice about the tea! ;)

DD4 and I went to the tea in August. It was great and money well spent. As for the doll, it is definitely not an American Girl doll. The quality isn't all that great. The hair on the doll is pretty nappy. If you want to go to the tea, go for the experience. Don't expect much for the stuff (doll, bracelet, tiara). As for substitutions on food, I really don't know since we didn't ask. My DD will eat just about anything.

I am taking my daughter and am just curious, is the doll always blond? My daughter is blond, so I am hoping this the case, but if you weren't, it seems they should let the family pick the hair color?

All of the dolls were blonde when we were there.

Ny DD absolutely loved the Tea Party! She loved being announced by Miss Rose Petal and having real rose petals thrown on her when she entered the room. The look on her face was priceless! Aurora and Rose Petal spent a lot of time with each girl and Baron Branch ,the piano player came and signed autographs as well and took song requests. This was a special event and really made DD feel special since there were only about 15 -20 girls with their mothers! princess:

I would love to take dd9 but i am wondering if she will feel out of place. How old are the girls usually?

If you think your DD would enjoy it I would book it! I am taking my DD who is 8 and I think she will have a great time. The reviews say that this is for girls age 3-11. princess:
