My only complaint about BLT/CR

Can they turn down the smell a little? My goodness! It was almost as bad as Hollister!
Nice scent, but too much. Left me nearly gasping for air!

I have never been bothered by the smell at BLT or CR - although the last time went to the Polyn had to leave the smell was so over powering.

It's that French *****house smell they pump into the lobbies. Beach Club has it too. I've never noticed it in the rooms, however.

Wow, Hollister......it's gotta be bad. I did notice it at POLY when we dined there a couple months ago.

It was only in the lobby areas. It was like a big, "HELLO!" and "GOODBYE!"

Haven't noticed it in either BLT or BC.

And I have an 11 year old daughter, so I'm familiar with the Holister attack.

I don't know about the smell of BLT but I live the smell at the dolphin so much that I bought the westin scent system. It is white tea and it smells awesome, most smells nauseate me.

That is the best smell! They had it at the Moana Surfrider in Hawaii. I loved it so much I finally went to the front desk to ask what it was!

Maybe they had a group of really smelly guests staying at the same time you were and had to cover up the scent! Sorry, I teach 6th graders and have to do this in my classroom after gym class sometimes!

The BC has an awesome fresh smell, not a Holister or French House smell. There were threads and threads years ago as people tried to find the same exact scent to use at home.

I'm staying in an Omni right now and it has the same scent! But it is MUCH more subtle. Not as many stinky kids I guess.

We thought it was overpowering, too, but more so on the CR side than BLT.

LOL, and the "smell" at the Dolphin made me so nauseous, I had to get through the lobby as fast as I could to keep from barfing! I kept wondering what they were trying to cover up!
