My November buddies

We'll be there from 11/25 - 12/2 @ OKW. This will be the first time for my family during the Holiday Season. We can't wait to see the resorts and the Parks decorated. We have LTT ADR's for 11/28 and then MVMCP. We are all very excited. It will be DW, DS7, DS6, DD6 and myself. We're also traveling with some very good family friends who we helped get them OKW with rented points from another member.

Just a little over 4 months to go now, and I count down every day. Really excited to do EE and see Osborne Lights. Planning on checking out the Ginger bread houses at the resorts as well. Hoping for low crowds and great weather.

Here's to everyone having a GREAT TIME!!!

Going 11/28 - 12/3 with DH & DD(5). Hubby's not too happy, our 6th trip, DD's 2nd. He'll get over it! :rotfl: :woohoo:

Count us In!!! It looks like the secret is out about the week after Thanksgiving being low crowds!!!! :chat: We picked this week because on our trip last Oct. one of the bus drivers told us it was a slow week. Oh well, Here we come!!!! Can't wait!! :Pinkbounc

Lets start a petition that the month of October be canceled this year due to a lack of interest, and September will be followed by November this year. :grouphug:

Anyone know for sure when decorations will go up? :santa: We are arriving the 16th and really want to see it decorated! :santa: :rotfl: :santa:

Well DD has a birthday in September, but she does turn 10, so no birthday would mean a child ticket hmmm..... :teeth:

My birthday is in September too but I have no problem missing a year. :hourglass

We are going back for "Jersey Week"-- November 5-- 11th this year.

We were there last year and really it seemed just right to us-- what I would call busy rather than crowded.

Someone upthread asked about decorations, and yes-- they were up when we were there last year for the first full week in November, and honestly I wish they hadn't been-- it was too early to think about Christmas for us and I would like to just have had Disney w/o Christmas on top of it, plus I would have rather heard the usual soundtracks instead of Christmas music.

But I read somewhere that people have liked that so, oh well.

They *are* pretty!

And not everything was decorated, it was kind of just here and there-- and one day at GF there was nothing, and then when we were there again at end of the week the big gingerbread house was there. They did have all the big trees up at the parks. :teeth:

I noticed you have two tickers-- are you making two trips then?

And what are your Thanksgiving plans? My family is considering a magical gathering T-giving next year and I have been tapped to begin researching...

Hi! I'm not sure why the tickers are showing different times! I have been meaning to try and figure it out! :rolleyes1 We will be arriving on Nov 16th! We want to do MVMCP on the 17th. We have never been during the Holidays before, so we are very excited about seeing everything decorated! :santa: We will be leaving on the 24th! :sad2: I have an ADR for Boma for T'giving! :lmao: We have been in Feb, March, April, June, July and Oct. So this is very exciting to us! :cheer2: We would love more holiday tips/pictures/reviews! :goodvibes

I think by the time you get there that *everything* will be decorated, and the decor is really really lovely.

When we were there in early November our resort (POR) was not decorated, neither were the Poly, The CR or the GF-- until the end of the week. The last full day we were there (Nov 11) we went back to the GF to get something we had spotted earlier in the week at the gift shop and their decorations were up including an awesome gingerbread house. I did not have DD with me, so she didn't get to see it, but my neice was there the week after Thanksgiving last year and she was absolutely captivated by the gingerbread house at the GF.

MK and AK parks were decorated when we were there, including the TS meals we had at MK (Crystal Palace and CRT) but we did not notice any decor at Epcot that week.

I don't have any pictures or I would happily share-- I am sure someone else has some.

11/28 to 12/1

This is our first trip at holiday time. It will be myself, DD, DM, DA and DC. We are soooo excited. We have our MVMCP tickets for 11/28.

I can't wait to see all of the decorations at the parks and resorts. I just hope I have enough time to take in everything.

Disney and Christmas, two of my most favorite things!!!!

Finally finished ADR's yeasterday. :rotfl: :happytv: :lmao:

We're making our first trip over Thanksgiving. It was a last minute decision and I had to waitlist. But thankfully pretty much what I wanted came thru. It took me forever to get my ADR's to where I was happy with them and I'm still trying to change CRT.

I was told that the holiday decorations will all be up and finished by 11/15. We have MVMCP tickets for 11/17 our first night there. We've got Candlelight Processional tx for our last day. And we're celebrating our youngest DD's 7th birthday while we're at WDW.

All in all it's looking to be one of our best trips ever. I can not wait to leave for WDW!

Booked an impulse trip for 11/15-11/19 to celebrate DS's 6th b-day (shhh... it's a surprise ;) ). Debated in my mind about him missing two days of Kindergarten, but if I don't do the surprise b-day trip now, when could I?

So we're going to do it, and I was surprised to find that we could also go to the MVMCP on the 17th (our first time ever!).

We're staying at the CBR (first time at a mod after 5 years at deluxes)... I hope I don't suffer too much :rotfl: I couldn't justify the cost of a deluxe since this is our second trip in 2006 (I admit... I'm an addict).
