My new thread AKA Sorta TR now with pics

Sorry to hear your trip is over. I did enjoy reading all about your fiendly adventures. :wizard: Glad you made it safely home.

So we relocated from the Fort to the middle Tennessee area, MAN what a rude awakening ! From a chilly 65 Fort temp to balmy Tennessee 11 degrees ! :scared1:Now where did I put my swim suit???

Well, we are home, and what a fine vacation we had, we even got to meet two Fort residents Judy and Helga, both fine folk :thumbsup2
We met some of the finest folk ya'll would be proud to run into(the fiends), we played, we laughed, we ate, we drank, we shopped, we looped, we did campfire marshmallows, we went to parks, and let us not forget we FISHED !!

What a awesome time we had,,I've never in my short life would have ever imagined that fine folk like the fiends still existed in this world. What a grand time it is to be with them. My only regret is our time was too short together and I wish all the fiends coulda been there.

The fish was hittn pretty fair at the Meadows pond this trip. I had never fish'd the pond till this trip,,,Bob kept nagging and nagging "ya gotta try the pond" ill I finally gave in. And ya know what, Grasshopper was right, fish'n the pond was very productive . Well, if ya call 30 inch cats, 22 inch bass and plate size bream productive. AND I DO !!:lmao:

Talk atcha later.

I't now 10 degrees here, :sad2:.

Sounds like just about a perfect trip, Frank. And it couldn'ta happened to nicer people. Glad y'all are home safe and sound!

I forgot to mention Jeff and Bob started a new service. They will direct you so you get perfectly straight and level on your site. Estimated time to do this is 2 hours. :lmao:

Oh that does sound like Jeff, but Bob I could just see standing there sayin, Just let me know when you're done. LOL

Glad you made it home safely.

Ok, now this is all the trip report I can muster so don't blink or you'll miss it.

Drove down to Sunny (almost) Fl on the Dec 28th. Met up with Frank and Denise at the Thousand Trails for a couple days.

Froze water but better than being home a couple nights.

Fishing not so good.

Went to fort on NYE to party with Fiends, great time and a big Thank you to hosts Richie and Miss Lorna.

Moved over to the Fort on the 2nd after a 7 AM phone call from Jeff and Cheryl.

Weather beautiful, fishing good, not great yet but good.

fishing good

fishing better

fishing great

fishing great and OH we went to MK with Jeff and Cheryl

fishing great and met Frank,Denise, Jeff and Cheryl at Epcot, hung in the lounge at Test Track for a while then had a "poops around the World" tour around World Showcase.

Fishing great, cought a big catfish while I was waiting for Frank to show up and was struggling to land it when I hear Frank holler "need help" and boy did I, Frank came a running, fishing gear in hand just in time to help me land it. Don't ever let someone tell you there aren't some BIG fish in that pond. Oh and they bite too, both of us had blood comming from our thumbs.

ok, now the bad part, Kathy made me leave, no extra days this time, she was missin' the grandkids and although so was I, we coulda done a few more days.

Left a couple hours after Frank and Denise and although we usually stop overnight in Troy, Al we kept going after Kathy talked to some people in a fuel stop told her ice was a commin' in the morning. We had to winterize the TT on the road as the temp was plumiting from 47 to 25 in just a few miles and pulled in to the estate at about 1 in the morning to 13 degrees.

It's hard to believe it's over already but we had a blast with some of the finest people you could ever meet and I got to fish with my mentor. It's funny how we have our cart but aside from a little looping we didn't use it very much.

Oh did I tell ya the fishing was good?

did ya like the spacing in the report?

did I tell ya the weather was pretty good most of the time?

did I tell ya I am home and missing getting up and dropping a line?

did I tell ya "THATS ALL FOLKS!"

What a fun trip!!! Thanks to ALL you guys for sharing your trip & pics!:thumbsup2

Just what I like, "RIGHT TO THE POINT"..;)

Glad you had a "Great" time..:thumbsup2

Too bad you had to leave!

One morning bout 8:AM,
Bailey and I were out walking, ran into a guy in the 800 loop walking his pot bellied pig.
Anyone else see that ?

Thanks for the honorable mention. Did the cart make it back? What will FL do without that speed demon around? I thought it was getting enterered in the Daytona 500.

Dead Pig Walking!!! Now that there is some fresh BACON!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

Do ya spose pot bellied pig would taste any different from a Jimmy Dean pig ?

If you had taken a picture, we could have all seen it... ;)

Okay , I guess you haven't noticed that I apparently do not carry a camera with me when I'm on vacation,,
maybe I should start tho,,I do spend a lotta time thinking to myself, "Man I wish (they/she/he) could see this ."

ok, i have a few more pics to add. the night we went to the wilderness and had dinner i got a photo. i have learned that with these guys you need to carry the camera with you at all times cause you just never know.. lol

i forgot what they called these fish-but, they kept complaining about them stinkin'. i think it was just "ohana" but, i could be wrong. :rotfl:

bob decided to feed the bird. that bird grabbed that fish and just swallowed it. if you look close you can still see the fish in it's neck.

now this was a trophy fish...:lmao: can you see how proud frank is. he caught a fish and that is all that matters. :thumbsup2

we took off one day and got oranges. frank needed his boiled peanuts, too. don't believe them-boiled peanuts are not that great treat they say they are. i tried one and it was like a baked bean with all the juice washed off it. :confused3
