My New Tattoo....

Very nice! I just got one in the same place, but mine says "forever" in my mummy's handwriting. :goodvibes It's a very personal place to have a tattoo, I think, because very few people ever notice it.

I love that CR it is awesome...:thumbsup2

I have three one is well if I show it I might get in trouble as I heard they have to be copy writeed (sp) but I don't think it is. can you guess what it is??? :lmao:

I have a dragonfly on my ankle but it is next to the other one so that is out...the other you don't want to know. :rotfl:

That is not a 'W' it is a lowercase Omega.:confused3

Who did the translation for you?

I know that - but I don't have a lowercase Omega on my keyboard. ;)

I did the translation for myself. :)

Awww - that's nice! I like that. :goodvibes

Thanks so much, everyone. :grouphug:

Those of you with tattoo's - know that initial *bliss* you feel, when you first get a new one. You just want to stare at it. :goodvibes

I just love it.

I've contemplated a wrist tattoo, in college I drew one on with a marker. It got distracting though. I really like yours, simple but with meaning.

And your fingernails look cool, too. Love the color!:thumbsup2

Do you need a parent's permission if you are not 18? I have a fear of my DD's getting tattoos without my permission.

not when you are 18 you are an adult...if she is 18 you can't stop her..sorry.

Yes - someone would have to sign for her. And they're really particular about it (at least the place I go to, is)

My son got an "industrial" (that bar thing through his ear) when he was 16 - and I had to be there, with not only my driver's license and ID for him - but also the Birth Cert. stating I was his parent (and not an aunt or a sister)

Same thing when my younger son got just a regular ear piercing.

How did you figure out the accurate translation??? I'm trying to get something translated and with a few of the place I've looked, there is a slight difference so I'm really worried about having it done and being wrong.

I think that is such a beautiful thing to do.

CR, very cool, are you Greek?

Yeah, in MD anyway, I assume it's pretty much that way everywhere. My dad took me to a tattoo shop to get mine done. Be aware though that people have tattoo parties in their houses, especially teens, so there are lots of teens who are getting them w/o consent. I've been to a couple of them- the person throwing the party gets a bunch of people together and the tattooist comes over and charges about 1/2 price for what it would cost in a shop- he gets 100% profit compared to having to split with the shop. It's cheaper for the customers, and most of the time, the host gets his/hers for free for drumming up the business. I guess no one is carding at someone's home. :confused3
