Kaboom! Have you tried it?

I have a white bathtub with the texture on the bottom. I just noticed this AM it was pretty grubby so figured time to scrub the bottom! Because of the grooves I can never seem to get it back to the perfect white. I tried to use the Mr. Clean Eraser b/c that seems to work best for anything textured, like the fridge doors or whatever. It worked ok, but still left a lot of spots.

I went to Target to get the scrubbing bubbles but saw the Ultra Concentrated thing of Kaboom. Not the spray one but the super scrub one. Came home, put some on the bottom of the tub and scrubbed it will a regular sponge... My tub is SPARKLING!! It's BEAUTIFUL.

I love cleaning supplies and I think I just made a new best friend!

Yup! I actually posted about this stuff about a month ago. It's wonderful!

well I might have to get me some of that. I love a new product if it works.
I love the magic erasers too.

Yep, I used Kaboom almost 3 years ago to clean a bathroom, and I subsequently got pneumonia. I'm sure it was due to not being ventilated properly (there was only one small window in the bathroom), but I haven't used the Kaboom since.

I love Kaboom. I have a horrid flat top stove that is very difficult to clean. My DH is always spillng stuff on it and then it gets baked in the top and is a huge mess. I had bought a ton of different products specifically for smooth tops but none of the worked on the tough stuff.
I tried Kaboom out of desperation. It clearly says to not use on smooth tops but I didn't care about ruining the dang thing.
Works perfect!

It very clearly states to use it in a well ventilated area. I put the exhaust fan on full blast before I begin spraying.

I just saw this advertised at one of our local grocery stores & thought about it trying it. I definitely will now! Thanks! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the review. I've been thinking about trying this stuff for awhile now but just haven't taken the plunge. I will definately feel confident about giving it a try now. Only thing that worries me is that we have NO window in our bathroom just a fan. I wonder if I should wear a mask?

I have the same kinda new tub you described.. and WHITE, so I will have to try this! I will wear a mask tho :thumbsup2

Thanks for the tip! I have a tub that could use a dose of Kaboom! Have you tried the Kaboom toilet cleaner? I LOVE IT! And the Magic Eraser is one of man's best inventions...heck, I mean women's...it must have been made by a mom!! ;)

I tried Kaboom a long time ago and wasn't impressed with it.... Mr. Clean magic erasers on the other hand are the best invention ever! I use the Mr. Clean scrubbing/cleaning pads in my bathroom, they work great...no backaches from cleaning the tub! :thumbsup2

I've got one to add. Friday, I picked up a bunch of cleaning supplies for my store and grabbed a bottle of Fabuloso to use for mopping the floors.

My gosh, the stuff cleaned up paint! Without having to scrub big time. It also made my store smell so nice.

I usually avoid Wal Mart like the plague (too darn busy at all hours), but I'll make a trip back in to get a bottle of the stuff for my house.

Thanks for the tip about the kaboom toilet cleaner. We've got some funky water around here and it does strange things to the toilet bowl!

It got crayon off the back of the computer chair I am currently sitting on, that had been on there for years! I :worship: this! :rotfl:

Yep, it also removes whatever that 'stuff' is that dogs leave on the corners of the walls. Ick!

The Kaboom toilet cleaner was a disappointment to me..I am not sure I would get it again. It foams up really well, but even if left for a long time doesn't seem to clean anything.

HOw strong is that stuff? Can I use it around the kids - I mean if therein another room or should I spray & leave the hose for a few hours? What about scrubing it then? (I have an infant) & no windows in the bathroom - but have an exhaust fan....

yeah what is that STUFF??? I love it!

I bought the Kaboom super scrub cream. It's in a tube like the Jelly or Mustard! :) Not the spray. I think the cream is more powerfull! I don't have ANY ventilation in the bathroom (stupid house!) and it was fine. Smelled nice too. I have used some sort of cleaner that was just lethal in the past so it's important to me to find a good one!

I am going to have to try that floor cleaner!

How do you you all store your cleaners? I have some under the sink in the kitchen, some in the bathroom. I am thinking of getting a tub or something to put them all in. No kids yet, digging under the sink.

Is this a Wal-Mart brand item or can you find it anywhere?

Mel,

Not sure if it's just wal mart. I'll probably find out today-have to go to Target for more stuff for the store. They're getting used to seeing me every day at the Target, WalMart and Staples near my store! :)
