My new favorite cleaning supply...

I love Kaboom!

I just saw the informercial for the Kaboom Toilet Cleaner and I'm anxious to try it.

Does anyone know if it's "safe" for septic tanks?

Bleach used to be my #1 cleaning friend, but it kills the bacteria in the septic tank rendering it useless.

I love my glass top stove. I clean it with CeramiBright and I use a single edge razorblade to take off the burned stuff. it works great. I then wipe it with a wet sponge and then a dry cloth. It always looks fabulous.

Wal Mart carries one type of Fabuloso (the lavendar scent), but Target carries three.

That Kaboom is amazing. Smells great, too!

I used the Kaboom spray- LOVE it, but it makes me sneeze like crazy!!! Had to have the bathroom fan on (smell is SO strong) and plugged in a standing fan- but it made my tub so sparkly!

Mr Clean Magic Eraser! It cleans stuff that NOTHING else gets off.

Somebody posted about Finazzle grout cleaner a month or two ago--didn't work at all for me.

We have textured tiles in the bath and it is impossible to clean. the Magic Eraser makes a dent in the soap scum, but only a dent. The tile was full of soap scum when we moved in, and I have never been able to get it off--I've tried everything. If I didn't have to work for a living :) . maybe the Magic Eraser would work if I could scrub every single day!

I also use this but use a ScotchBrite Scratch Free sponge and it gets everything cooked/spilled on the stove off. If has one smooth side and a rougher texture on the other side. I use the rougher texture side and dont have to worry about it scratching like I did when I used a razor blade. Sometimes I have to scrub a little harder if it is really burnt on but I use this after I use the stove everytime and my stove still looks brand new after 2 years. I had a smooth top stove at our old house and didnt do this everytime and it looked horrible with burnt on food and scratches. I learned my lesson and am taking better care of this one.

Also, you can use the scraper from Pampered Chef to scrape your stove without worrying about scratching it.

Wish I could get my hands on the industrial products that the ServPro people used on my DD's "new" house.. NOTHING was working on the mess there and now it's sparkling clean and smells like a Florida orange grove - even 6 days later!! ;)
