My NEW Disability WDW TIPS list:

My kids and I have NF1 also. We just got dxed with it.

My daughter does--son doesn't. I think my mother and at least one of her brothers did. He had 1 leg a little shorter than the other and lots of "back problems" (scoliosis?) Mother had some "bumps." Mother would be 95 and her brother was older than her so no diagnosis for either of them. My gene may be a "mutation" but I think not--but can't prove either way!

My dad and my sister both have symptoms of it but haven't been tested yet. I have 4 kids and 3 of them have it. We thought only 2 of them did but when we took my daughter in for her testing we learned she has it also.
We found out due to my youngest having a tumor. But now we have answers to so many questions.

We go back to the resort for a pool break-the kids love to swim and dh and I enjoy the "ahhh" factor of a cool pool. We go back to the park or different one (park hopper) refreshed and mentally alert. DS had autism and we do get some looks, comments, etc. DD usually is mortified by DS's behavior but as a parent we are usually trying to prevent the meltdowns. Autism is more recognizable now so most people figure the hand flapping and echolalia are autism. Keep the recommendations coming!
