Breezy...just a point of clarification after looking at your avatar. Will there be whoopie pies at any point on this road trip? Because a whoopie pie and a mojito may be the perfect stake out meal. Just checking.

30 pages, and yet, no recent update from the OP --My emotions go back and forth between hoping she is okay and being really PO'ed that I've been duped....but, loved all the goodies pics! Now I need a fresh, hot, Krispy Kreme! And me, in the middle of PA, with no Krispy Kreme store around.......sob. I've gotta know --- WHAT'S IN THE BAG?????????

Maybe I could just make some regular ones and add the chocolate chips. Those look like the mini size chips don't they?

I'm thinking maybe the OP discovered the truth about the white bags and the drop offs and there's a perfectly reasonable explanation and she doesn't want to come back and admit to us that we've been checking this thread daily for something that's no big deal. I just can't quite convince myself that there's a perfectly reasonable explanation out there!

I hope she's ok though! OP, give us an update or at least check in so we know you're alright!

My friend's daughter has lupus and it can be extrenely debilitating. I really don't think we're being duped by OP. The likelihood that (1) we would actually find out what's in the bag or (2) that it would have a speedy resolution was probably very low to begin with, so I think maybe our expectations were a little high to begin with. If I thought my neighbors were up to something, possibly illegal, I sure as heck wouldn't be marching over there asking questions because strangers on the DIS want to know.

I'm sure they are. I did find ones with the peanut butter center and one that said you can used Marshmallow Fluff instead of the frosting in the middle.

I have no reason to doubt the OP. She said she was having a flare and that could keep her away from here for a while. I only have Fibro so I don't know first hand how bad a Lupus flare can be I do know what my flares are like. It is not a pretty picture when one happens. Give her time, she'll be back with an update.
