Breezy...just a point of clarification after looking at your avatar. Will there be whoopie pies at any point on this road trip? Because a whoopie pie and a mojito may be the perfect stake out meal. Just checking.

:thumbsup2 You know me, if there's a request - I'm all over it! Absolutely.

Which kind would you prefer?

I once had a neighbor cars pull up, people run inside and leave with paper bag. I thought for sure DRUG DEAL, right? Wrong! Mary K.

OK so the bags are coming in. Maybe she is a Mary K addict and she doesn’t want her old man to know. She waits until he is watching football or some other manly thing at the other end of the house. Perfect opportunity to sneak her stuff in the window.
My guess?

The part that I find so intriguing, is that they pull up to the property line - drop the bag - then pull into the drive :confused3 WTH? And why is that room the only one with blinds on it.

Really, I think we definately need to figure this one out - or my OCD will go into overload

:rotfl:

Man...never read this thread when you're hungry...where do you find all these delicious-looking pics anyway???

Good thoughts your way OP! :goodvibes

OMG, OPP and harem pants! Now that's a trip down memory lane.

Good grief I feel old - just saw best of the 80's last week and took a trip down memory lane. Not only that but my faves are officially now all on an oldies station - what a cruel world. :lmao:

Isn't it though?
A guy I work with said he was going to put the radio on the oldies station. I almost cried when I realized it was all 80's music! LOL. I then informed him that "oldies" was music from the 50's/60's. He just kind of looked at me like 'you poor, poor old woman....' I honestly had no idea that the music I grew up on was considered oldies now. :sad2:

Anyhoo, I have just spent HOURS reading pages 1 through 29. I was really hoping for an ending. I got really excited when I saw the date of the original post! I thought for sure it would be solved by today.

Also, just so you all know.....
I am SO doing the whole bag drop off thing to my neighbors! So if you happen to live by me... SHHHHHHH. ;) J/k, but I WOULD totally pay one of my MILs neighbors to do it! The woman is in everyone's business, I don't even live in the same state and I know more about her neighbors than they do! The white bag drop off would drive her nuts! LOL.

Okay, re: guy at work - what a dork, dweeb, etc. (insert 80's insult of your choice) :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

re: MIL - I always picture Gladys Kravitz from Bewitched when anyone mentions a nosy MIL. I don't even know if she had children, therefore inlaws, but she would be a hoot as a MIL, :scared1:

It is. My DD was very suprised that Speed Racer was a cartoon way back when. ( The cartoon was way better, btw)

Where is OP(P)??? Are you ok?

This is one of those "Things that make you go hmmm" Oh wait, that's the 90's.

MMMmmmmm.....

Was that a chocolate chip whoopie pie? Anyone have a recipe for that?

Hey, just now opening this thread.... when things get slow, it always turns to the food!!!

I wish I knew what those white bags looked like. What size are they?

Anyhow, it is obvious that whatever they are doing, they are hiding something from the person INSIDE the house. The OP does not mention if this seems to happen when the dad is home, or if it ever happens when he is not. But, they obviously care a lot more about what HE (if it is the dad) might see than what the neighbors see.

If the bags contained items/ingredients for making drugs, like meth, then it is possible that they have been reported by a retailer, and thus the cop drive-by???

The OP mentioned that the dad seemed to work different odd hours, like swing shift. I wonder if anybody has ANY idea what he does??? I mean, isn't swing shift very rare anymore? I actually wonder if the dad is undercover with law enforcement... I say this because I have known of two different people who have been undercover cops. And, this would take some odd hours... not just 8 to 5.

The van thing creeps me out too... I wonder if the OP has ever gone down to the flea market and seen them there?

Very strange situation!!!

One of our neighbors had odd cars at her house often-stayed about 20 minutes or so. Then once she had a cop car there.
So-of course we thought "drugs"-but her two kids were often there and this is a nice normal middle class neighborhood.

It turned out she was doing 'fortunes" , reading tarot cards, and one of her clients got upset and thus the complaint and cop car.

Hey, OP! What's going on now? Inquiring minds want to know...................

Seriously...talk about a cliff hanger.

Shelby

Hi OP. Just wanted to let you know we're thinking about you. I know you were enjoying this thread, so I'm sure you must be going through a really tough patch with your lupus. Sending pixie dust and prayers your way!
