My neighbor parked his car in the house on purpose... pictures are in post #17 & 111

Does he have a basement? I sure hope the floors can support this car.
Can you imagine it falling through the floor? The hole in the wall would pale in comparison.

Somebody should be there when the wife gets home so that they can just hand her divorce papers to fill out. :rotfl2:

0_0... Wowza. That is one of the craziest things I have ever seen.:rotfl:

Ok- this guy is married- of course his wife is away for a few more weeks and has no idea that he made an 8 foot hole in the side of his house...

Not only did he take out a doorway and a window but beneath the window was a portion of a fireplace that he took a sledge hammer too- it is (was) an extended hearth sort of like a shelf of bricks.

It was quite funny watching he and his partners in crime my dh and a former neighbor push this thing in the house and be more worried about the paint job on the car than on the antiques inside lol-

It is a 1964 Mustang- and he bought it (and another for parts) for his daughter when she was a Sophomore in highschool- she is now in her second year of college lol- but drives mom's old but newer mustang while there...

The reason he is putting it inside the house was that the new headliner was installed but he doesn't have side windows yet... He seemed to think me just plain silly at the suggestion of covering it with a tent or tarp or something like that.

Now you asked for pictures...

This is them pushing the Car inside the house

Ok here they had to stop and move an antique armoir so that the car would clear the fireplace

Here is a picture from inside- note the sofa to the left and corner of the armoir to the right- he didn't move anything out ahead of time

I told him that I would make a disc of all the photos we took- there are a few more that show the wife how close some of her things came to distruction lol-

My kids thought it was just silly but knowing this neighbor it really didn't surprise them much...

My dh decided that this would have to be a new "You might be a redneck... if you have a '64 Mustang parked in your living room"

And I'm now involved because I told the neighbor he needed a carriage door since that is what the hole looks like now- and so he is going to tell his wife he is going to install a carriage door on the phone- but not tell her that there is a car in there.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: OMG!!!! THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!! Definitely an add to the "You know you are a redneck...." threads! You have got to tell us how his DW responds to it when she returns!

Now I like cars, I love old Mustangs, but there is no WAY that I would let my dh bring a car into the house!!

Ooooooo wow. That guy needs a pole barn in the worst way!

Oh My Ga! He would so be a dead man if he were my DH.

And, of course, it had to be someone from my own state, Louisiana :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
that HAS TO BE the funniest thing I have seen of in a while!!!!

DO NOT give my husband any ideas... the 56 STAYS in thagarage - I don't CARE if you have to park your truck outside....

My DH said he should just hang plastic and get started on the Mustang ASAP!:lmao:

OmG!
Imagine what the dogs are thinking in that last picture... it looks like they are looking at the vehicle and whispering to each other WHAT in the world is he putting in the house now? LOL

I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard before. I must know what the wife says when she returns.

lol We dont have basements here in Louisiana, low water table. Thank goodness for him because i dont think he would have cared, he just wanted to get his car out of the weather lol.

Oh Me!!! :lmao: :lmao: That is the funniest thing I've seen ever! I agree that Leno must see this! You have to send it in. :thumbsup2

Well, I just did my part to send this off to make the internet rounds :rotfl2: !

My DDad loves Mustangs, but even he would agree that this guy is nuts!

LOL.

Sounds like he has a few screws loose. He should tighten them when he finishes the car. ;)

Poor wife, either she's extremely easygoing or make sure you record what happens when she gets home for evidence. Keep us updated. It's going to get interesting. :rolleyes1

My late husband wanted to knock down the wall into our basement level family room to store a car. My son I could see doing something like this.

Wouldn't a tarp have been easier?

LOL i just showed DH he was like OH MY GOD!!!! I cant believe they didnt move anything!!!
