My neighbor parked his car in the house on purpose... pictures are in post #17 & 111

This Was Easier??????????? Omg............................

So last night I was showing this thread to my husband, still in amazement that someone would do something that STUPID. I don't know what reaction I was expecting from him, but it wasn't the one I got. All he did was shrug and say, "I can understand why he did that!"

We made a new rule in our house last night. No demolishing the house to protect a car. EVER.

This is so funny!
I just sent it to all my friends and family in Louisana.
I agree with the others, please update us when the wife gets home.

BTW, the car may not be an LSU purple car, but I did notice the LSU cap in the second picture.
Geaux Tigers!!! :thumbsup2

My husband recently sold his two mustangs. A 64 convertible and a 65 hard top. Those were his babys for a long time and they had their own garage. They were both in mint condition. I know IF we didn't have the gargage he would have tried to do the same thing. There is something about these cars that messes with the guys brains. I am not a car lover and always thought of them as taking up room in the garage but I did understand their worth to the right person. The reason he finally sold them!!!!! We now have a T-Bird in the garage. A man and his toys.
I had a neighbor put his Harley in the living room for the winter and he had a garage. It couldn't go in there though because it wasn't heated. :confused3

Yeah, that's basically the same thing my DH did too.:confused3 :confused3

I'm guessing they did not unload the amoire before moving it. Lets just hope that everything doesn't come tumbling out whe the doors are opened the first time!

Will he really keep his wife in the dark until she returns? I would be more upset with DH for witholding vital information.

What a great story!!!!

OMG :lmao: I would kill my DH...or should I say EX-DH :lmao:

There is no way I would be ok with what he did to the fireplace. I hope it is still sturdy and not going to come down.

I got a few requests for more pictures...

This shot shows how close they were coming to the broken fireplace

This shows the car inside but you can also see the whitish rectangle of where the fireplace used to be

This one shows how close they were to everything on the walls

And this one is a shot of the car in the house- but not centered yet in the room

This morning my neighbor is building a "sturdier" wall- with insulation- I suspect his wife is coming home sooner than he thought and he is getting it to look more finished before she returns lol

Please, for the love of the Dis- get a video of the wifes face when she returns. It could be worth $10,000- you never know!

Oh you would so win America's Funniest Videos!

Last year, didn't they give the grand prize winner a trip to every Disney park in the world?

Yes please let us know the wife's reaction!!! I would kill my husband if he did that!

OMG. I HAVE to hear how the wife reacts!!!

Please be there, take pics and post them of when the wife comes home. Something tells me his voice might get a few octaves higher.:lmao:

The whole thing cracks me up!

But...
They didn't move the armoire because it
was too heavy? Ummm... How much does a Mustang weigh?
eta: it occurred to me that the car has wheels
and 3 (?) guys to move it, but still...

And...
Notice he put a towel or something under the car??
Maybe it's me but I found it hysterical that he could
tear apart the house but was thoughtful enough
to catch the car fluids... Hmm...
Maybe he can use that when his wife gets home,
"But honey, I'm making sure no oil drips in the house
so there won't be a MESS!"
