My neighbor parked his car in the house on purpose... pictures are in post #17 & 111

When I first saw the thread title the other day, I skipped over it because I thought someone had an accident & drove into a house.

But since you edited & added with pics, I decided to look. :lmao: Soooo glad I did! :lmao:

Oh Sweet Jesus, I just saw this... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Someone come pick me up off the floor! This is the best thing I have seen in along time! I can not believe this man! This one needs to be on TV.. :happytv: :happytv:

Nope Lake Charles...

I was showing my husband the pictures and said I bet this is in Lake Charles somewhere. :rotfl: :rotfl: If you don't mind, can you PLEASE send me a pm telling me where this is. I wouldn't be surprised to find out it's one of my neighbors.:rotfl2:

I can't believe this guy!---Atleast move the furniture out of the way before you bring the car in! popcorn:: When does the wife get home?

I do find it interesting that the wife is away for a few weeks....on sabatical........................

Maybe she had to check herself into a spa or something to get away from the character she is married to!!! :lmao:

The OP mentioned the guy had a daughter, he doesn't happen to have any SONS that he might have passed this behavior onto does he??? :rotfl: :rotfl:

His wife is off visiting her oldest dd- who was having a baby.

But she is pretty easy going and I did suggest he get in a ready supply of Malibu for her upon arrival.

About not moving anything- believe me- when I walked up the guys were already pushing the car in and I asked if he had thought about moving that armoir that I could easily see- and he says he was hoping he didn't have to since it was really heavy... I found out he did roll up the rug and move the coffee table ahead of time...

And to the person who asked- definitely no basement- we don't have those here- unless you want it to be an indoor pool lol- we hit water at about a foot or so and are only a few feet above sea level anyway lol

Oh and just daughters- 2 of them- both really sweet and smart girls who would both be going, "oh daddy" at him when they saw this lol

OMG that is the funnies thing I have ever seen. PLEASE let us know how the wife takes this.

Could anyone be THAT easy going??? This guy has some serious attachment issues over this car. Apparently he treasures the car more than his house and quite possibly, his marriage? :rotfl2:

Can you imagine if Jay Leno or Jeff Foxworthy got ahold of this? They would have a field day. :rotfl2: :lmao:

What is he going to use to cover the hole in the side of the house tonight? The cold temps that he was afraid of is going to rip through that house if left open. Maybe he could get some of the clear plastic strips that you walk through like you see at the butcher shop or grocery store in the meat department. :rotfl: It would fit right in with his newly created housing style.

The hole was covered with a temporary wall- he now has plywood and 2x4's where there once was a door and window and part of the fireplace hearth.

To be honest I think she may be most upset about the interior remodel that he can't put back (fireplace) but I'm sure he can fix it to look good. He does lots of work around the house and is the go to guy for those tricky fixes some of the less industrious spouses get themselves into with their own DIY projects around the house...

You should have seen him and dh after hurricane rita cleaning the trees out of our back yard- they were trying to break branches on half a tree- and I was inside making sure dh's life insurance policy was up to date lol

so many of my neighbors are so boring- I'm very glad he was across the street when we moved in lol...

And really his wife will take this in stride- she will harrass him about it for a long time but I don't think a divorce is in the works at all- of course we will all be harassing him about it...

My dd saw him outside on her way home from the bus stop and wanted to make sure he didn't plan to start the engine in the house- and then she asked if he had thought of a portable tent to use as a cover- he told her that this was just easier...

And for him it probably was easier lol

He must be really handy and confident to dismantle the fireplace to only know he'll have to fix it later. Wow...

This has been the craziest thread I've read in a long time.

I can see what you mean, having him across the street means the neighborhood will never be boring. Thats for sure!

When is the wife due home? You've got to tell us her reaction!

Nope Lake Charles...

And yes this guy is always great for a laugh or two... His front yard is great has nice places to chill out and is covered with a huge magnolia tree... he has a "fire pit" that skirts the law of open fire by having a grill that can fit over the top- and it is often a gathering place for neighbors on the evenings and weekends.

A few years ago at a neighborhood block party for Halloween- he invited all the kids up on his roof- I just shook my head and instructed my children to stay on the ground- thank you very much

He is great at building new things from old and is the king of curby's (picking tossed out items off the curb)- so repairing the hole won't be that big of a deal- but his wife will still not be thrilled lol

Oh- the car is NOT purple- sorry if it looks that way in the pictures- it is a dark midnight blue

It looks blue on my computer too, but with everyone saying purple I thought yeah an LSU mustang!! I might let that in my living room.

I'm with Tarmand, I would also drive around aimlessly looking for the house, but alas I'm too far away. Hi Tammie :wave2: . Wanna drive up to Lake Charles together :rotfl:

Does he have a basement? I sure hope the floors can support this car.
Can you imagine it falling through the floor? The hole in the wall would pale in comparison.

Somebody should be there when the wife gets home so that they can just hand her divorce papers to fill out. :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Definitely not :rotfl: (not picking on you mickeysgal ;) )

LOL my doll! I agree with other posters you should send the pictures to Leno. And under no circumstances show him pictures of Sci-Fi Dine in theater since his family room or dining room can be next!!

Like the ones at the car wash! OMG this gets funnier and funnier!

Oh, if my DH did that he would be so dead! OMG I can't believe it.:scared1:
