My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

What a great EP day. And what is with all of these here DIS'rs missing ALL of the Land? There is way more than a flight there!;)

Btw- I DO NOT have a favorite Canada fence. :confused3 I must explore more next trip!

disney<333- So terrible! We all need reminders about how precious life is. Hug your babies everyone!

Barbara so sorry about the tragic death of the student at your school. Prayers for everyone involved and hurting because of the circumstances...:flower3:

I just saw the picture that you caught of Erin and Ava with Alice! I happened to spy Ava and I in the background of a picture on another TR from our MK day. It is like playing a game of I Spy!

Love the pictures from Living With the Land. It has always been one of my favorite rides.

We were 'spied' on the Polynesian beach on 4th of July a couple of years ago. It is was funny that in all of Disney World, a DIS friend just happened to see us from afar.

I'll say a prayer for the little girl's family. So sad. :grouphug:

I agree! :grouphug: hugs and prayers to the family.

The whole situation is just painful to think about. What should have been an exciting meeting and special family time has taken a tragic turn. A family has lost their little girl, and this friend is in the hospital far away from his home. I am thinking of the person who hit them, too. There will be so many things to work through for all of them. We are thinking of all involved and the school family of the girl as these kids deal with losing a friend and processing this kind of grief, many for the the first time, I'm sure.

Yep, the land is full o' fun!
And good eatin', too. ;)

You should get yourself a favorite Canadian fence.
I'll share mine.
It's in Canada.
In Epcot.
In Disney World.
Where we will be
at the end of
THIS MONTH! :dance3:

Well it's officially our first Snow Day of the year!!!

My kids are so happy!

It must be bad out there.... our transport is stuck on the side of the highway and he is waiting for a snow plow to clear a path.
The visibility is aweful with drifting snow.
We are expecting about 15cm to fall.

Since I live out of the city I may just stay home today....:goodvibes

I would love to lay in bed and read some cruise TR's.;)

Crazy to think this storm started in Texas????

So sad about the little girl. It really makes you remember (and worry) how anything can happen at any time.

Memom- that Poly pic was me.lol It was my sons first trip to WDW at 4 months so we just stayed in the concierge lounge and took pics of the beach for the 4ths fireworks. All is still on for our daughter and mommy 5k trip so we actually might get to meet on the 25th.:thumbsup2

Day off work with a sick 11yr old home. :0( but have I mentioned it in the 80s all week. You guys may think that is gloating but I would really like to have some of that snow y'all are talking about.:)

Have a good day!

Connor is always so full of Connor comments.

Barbara, so sorry to hear about the little girl!

That's why you guys have to be there on NYE. He'll add to the fun! :dance3:

If roads are treacherous, just enjoy a day inside. You can DIS and bake and watch old movies and just enjoy lounging around all day. :thumbsup2

Love thar tour of the Land but it always makes me hungry.

Makes me want to garden, but I've been a failure at that in the past. We do have plans to eat at Garden Grill this summer, so I will get to taste some of those yummy vegetables then.

I was 99.9% sure it was you, but I didn't want wo say it in case I was wrong. I'm glad you spoke up and confirmed it for me.

Which 25th are you talking about? We're going to be in WDW February 26 - March 2nd. Are you talking about December 25th, assuming we fly in that night? Our other trips this year are July 2-7 and end of Sept. to about October 2nd or 3rd, depending on how much time Jill can get off.

We had snow this morning as I was coming to work, but nothing big. I can handle the snow better than I can handle the cold temps. I freeze to the bone in the cold! You box me up some 80's and I'll box you up some 20's and we'll trade for a few weeks. I am looking so forward to warmth very soon!

Playing catch-up on TRs on my SNOW DAY! We don't get very many so I'm loving this!

Jill ~ The pictures of your girls are just beautiful!

Love the stroll through the World Showcase...that's always fun!

Living with the Land is always great...love your pictures, MeMom! I think I see something new each time I ride. :thumbsup2

So sad to hear about the little girl.....my heart goes out to that family....

I have a snow day too! Us adults dont normally get out too often. We got some snow and then ice. Our roads are sheets of ice with high winds! Not attempting that. we were told to work from home but I worked long nights on mon and tues night at home so I did not have to work today! They says thats what is keeping our power on because they were worried about ice causing power outages but they think it helps that the snow came first! it could havve been a lot worse...but I will take a snow day any day as long as my power is on!

Glad to hear those getting a snow day are safe. We had rain overnight and sun today.

I am really sorry to hear about the little girl who was killed in the auto accident. That is so sad.

Memom, I love those little girl clothes with the characters wearing glasses. My daughter has had to wear glasses since she was 3 and she always loved to see characters and such in glasses. Too bad she is 15 now and can't wear it.

Great updates!!! We are stuck inside today as the blizzard hit us pretty good, everything in our area including businesses(the mall) is closed and unless its an emergency we aren't allowed on the roads.
So i'm spending the day in bed catching up on the Dis and trying to survive my current flair up of RA.
Can't wait to hear more and your Feb trip is coming up quick!!!

Just found out that the man is not the girl's grandfather but a very close family friend who flew in and was meeting her for the first time. Sorry for the discrepancy. It's still very sad. I hope the parents will be able to forgive him. I'm sure it's going to be a hard day at work tomorrow.

That's so very sad. :(

oops! I meant march 26 if you guys end up around MK that night for the parade. :0)

Hey if anyone still needs the Princess and the Frog soundtrack. Amazon has it for $5.00 today to download it!!

I am finally getting caught up today. First, my prayers are with the family that lost their daughter. So very sad. I love the pics of the girls.
So cute!
It is funny that Jill just had to go through deciding about school. I read about it and thought to myself "what is pre-1st?". Well, guess what? The next day I have to meet Cooper's pre-K teacher to discuss kindergarten. She gave me this complex diagram of ways he could get to 1st grade. Unbelievable. I think we will just do 1/2 day kindergarten or full day and then to 1st. He is old enough and his teacher feels he is ready for full day kindergarten.
I am watching Beauty and the Beast right now. My little one, Blake, is sick with a fever. It is funny. I brought home a flu test and strep test from the office and gave him samples of antibiotic. It really helps on doctor's bills when you can do some things yourself. ;)

I am so glad some of you guys are getting your snow days now. I enjoyed every one of mine. Some people were posting on FB that they were ready to get back to school. Not me!

It has been windy here. I heard it cutting through the house, it seemed like, when I got up this morning. I hope you do keep your power! I agree - it can be doing whatever out in the elements, but you'll make it as long as you have your power.

Glad to hear those getting a snow day are safe. We had rain overnight and sun today.

We had rain yesterday and sun this afternoon, but it is cooold!

They had a lot of that. I'll try to take some more pictures next time.

Stay warm and stay safe. I do not go out in any kind of snow or ice unless it is a complete emergency. I hate driving in the rain or the dark, too. I am a warm, sunny day driver. :thumbsup2

Hope you feel better!

That's so very sad. :(

The Disney Nerds line? The clothes actually come in all sizes. I think they're really cute too.

http://www.sodisney.com/2010/08/disney-nerds-merchandise.html

I'll have to look at this a little later. I still haven't read the pictures/characters article, either.

Thank you , I will check that out.

I hope your daughter likes it. :)

Unconfuse me one more time.
Do you mean February 26th?
If so, we're good to go!
We will meet you that night. ::yes::

Princess and the Frog - great music! :dance3:

I needed you this past week. Drew has been complaining of his throat hurting, and he is not a complainer at all. He was guzzling Theraflu and taking Advil and sucking cough drops, but he was just feeling worse. He looked so run down, so I looked in his throat. I did something like this - :scared1:. He had a very large 'marble' in the back of his throat, and it was covered in white. It was gross! He went to the doctor today, and she said OMG and asked him why he let it get this bad. He told her he was raised to fight through things before you run off to a doctor. :rolleyes1 Totally a guilty mom here. I felt bad for him. She gave him some horse pills, which I had to cut in half for him to be able to swallow. I hope they will help him very quickly.

Now I have been worried about the little girl he's been seeing, because she's been over here every night. I hope she doesn't get it, too! Yikes!

If you get a chance to go and see the play of Beauty and the Beast, do it!

I hope Blake gets better soon. We don't like our little guys or our big guys feeling down.

How is your dad coming along?
