My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Morning!

I can't see the girls new pics because I don't have a facebook acct. :faint: .... I'm probably the only person left in the whole world that doesn't ....

I enjoy any shopping trips we all take together here on the DIS! :goodvibes
I love Mousegears!

"Living With The Land" is a MUST for my DMom.
I really want her to be able to go on the "Behind the Seeds" tour before it's gone aswell.
She would be in her glory.
Last year she didn't plant her veggies because we were gone for two weeks last year during some of the prime harvest time.
This year we go in late September so the garden is a go!
There's nothing like fresh picked veggies....:thumbsup2

Lexi did the "Circle of Life" for the first time last trip and she enjoyed it.
I ageree, it was a nice place to cool down and be entertained too!

No snow day here, have fun with it Wig'd!

In four more weeks, she can practice again! :dance3:

I know - I think we are 25 days out. The countdown calender is hung, the dollar store ponchos purchased, and graphics ready for my first ever iron transfer shirts. I have so much more to do, but I need to get past Abby's birthday party this Saturday, then I will get into full swing. I can't wait to see how Ellie reacts to the characters!

Early this morning I took the girls for a photo shoot with the photographer who did their pics last spring. She had called me and asked if I would bring the girls so she could use them for sample pictures on the new spring background. I of course said yes. So this morning at 8:30 my children were being sweet little models. They just posted a few sample shots. Below is the link if you want to check them out.

Picture Sneak Peek

These are such gorgeous pictures!

Hi Guys did anyone else see this regarding Disney stopping walk around atmosphere characters. Now that I think of it I have not seen many in the last few trips. http://www.mouseplanet.com/9510/Collared
hope the link works.

So glad to hear about Connor. My DS was born with 3 holes in his heart but thankfully they closed up on their own by the time he was 1.!

MeMom congrats on the new computer (sorry you needed it)

The pics of the girls were beautiful!!! Hope everyone is staying warm out there!

While the AK pics are fresh in my mind. We have avoided AK since the baby was born. Now that he will be 3 in Aug for our summer trip we are adding it back in. It will just be me and ds3 and dd12 and i could use lots of advise as to what to go to and what not to miss.

I just hopped over to mouseplanet and read that article....
That is so hard to take that the magical moments with characters are going to be gone from Disney because of Photo pass and dollars. There is plenty of money to be made already.
Come on Disney, don't make it so predictable, do they want the repeat guest or not?

I know, I'm preaching to the choir here!

Thanks for your kind words about Michael, MeMom. You are so sweet and I bet are an amazing teacher. Great update!! I love all of the shopping pictures you post. We have never rode Living with the Land and I am not sure why! I definitely want to do it next time. Does it even keep young kids entertained? :)

The pictures of the girls are gorgeous! Bella has changed so much. She's such a cutie. :goodvibes

She's a rascal!
She's really started picking up phrases now, and it's pretty cute and funny.

I was thinking we might (just might) be able to do the Seeds tour this summer, maybe one afternoon when the girls are napping. It doesn't take long, and it would be a fun thing for just Jill and I to do together.

I need your mom and her vegetable garden to live in DIStown with us, please!

Check your calendar for not this Saturday, but next Saturday, for a possible meet in Cool Springs. Jill can get her pillow and get it out of your way after all this time, and the girls can play. With the holidays and crazy weather, nothing had really worked until now.

Happy Birthday to Abby, too! :dance3:

I'll have to check it out tonight. I'm on a quick lunh break right now.

I'll think about the AK priorities, and I'm sure others will chime in.

I am looking forward to reading about this later, but it's not sounding good from your comments. Money is playing into it, I see....

Bella did fine, and Parker thought it was cool. Your kids would enjoy it at least for one ride. They might not want to repeat it or anything, because it's not a thrill ride, but it's different and interesting. The girls would understand enough to maybe relate it things they learn in plant units at school. There's rarely a line. You should give it a try. It's a great thing to do when babyswapping while part of the group rides Soarin', too.

My college applications are done!!!!!! That's one big thing off my mind. I'm trying to get all of my major school stuff out of the way before Disney so it's not hanging over my head while I'm there. 3 weeks from tomorrow I'll be in the Magic Kingdom :cloud9:

We got to walk through the greenhouse once when they were having sort of an open house. They had stations along the way and people (college interns) giving out info. It's been awhile though (way back before Soarin) and I've never seen it opened up like that since. I would love to take a tour!

Please pray for a sweet, little girl's family. A little girl who went to the school I work at (She was in reading so, I didn't have her in any of my classes. I teach Art!) was killed this morning on her way to school in a car accident. Her grandfather flew in yesterday and was meeting her for the first time. He volunteered to take her to school this morning and they were hit from the side. The grandfather is in the hospital but in stable condition.
The news was on in the Teachers' Lounge and that's how we all found out. Everyone was in tears.
I can not even imagine what this family is going through right now. Please pray for them that they will get through their tragic loss.

Saw this on your facebook page. So sorry for everyone's loss. I can not imagine what her parents are going through. Prayers for all.

Just found out that the man is not the girl's grandfather but a very close family friend who flew in and was meeting her for the first time. Sorry for the discrepancy. It's still very sad. I hope the parents will be able to forgive him. I'm sure it's going to be a hard day at work tomorrow.

I loved riding around on the Living with the Land ride! :thumbsup2 But I have a confession to make....I've never seen the Circle of Life:eek: (I am always trying to get around the loop with the girls...gotta try to slow down and relax on our next trip!) :rolleyes1

What is your ideal college situation? I think you said you were going to commute and not pay dorm fees, so are you going with that?

Your counting is soon to hit the teens!

Very interesting. Maybe we'll get a big DIS tour together one of these days.

Time is just such a factor in being able to slow down and see more. Time is a luxury, though, when it comes to Disney trips.

Glad you are enjoying the pictures. We don't have a whole lot left for this trip, but we'll get a new stock this month!

Thanks for sharing this with us. It truly is a sad situation. As you can see, you have come to a good place for thoughts and prayers.

I just saw the picture that you caught of Erin and Ava with Alice! I happened to spy Ava and I in the background of a picture on another TR from our MK day. It is like playing a game of I Spy!

Love the pictures from Living With the Land. It has always been one of my favorite rides.
