My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Believe me, we have all seen your place on the news a lot lately, and we are sending our best wished for it to be over soon. Just what little we have gotten is getting old, so I can't even imagine how you guys are coping. They are saying maybe a half inch for us tonight and then more on Tuesday - maybe two inches, and then maybe a dusting on Thursday. It's all iffy as of now, though. We'll be making up quite a few school days.

I'm pretty sure they school where my mom works and my sister goes is allowed five "free" snow days that don't need to be made up at the end of the year. I think there's only been three snow days so far. Kailyn is a senior this year so she doesn't care how many there are, since seniors don't have to make them up!

Speaking of Kailyn, I don't know if I mentioned that she is going to Disney in April with some friends. They're staying off property and going for, I think, six days -- leaving the day after my birthday. And, Charles is going to Hawaii next month! His dad is a pharmacist at Children's Hospital in Boston and they were sending him there for four days for some work meetings. He asked if he could take his family with him and they said yes. So they have four days of a hotel room paid for, and they're paying for another four themselves. With all these people around me taking vacations, I'm feeling jealous and like I might need to plan a trip somewhere...anywhere :rotfl2:

Congrats on the new purchase!

I'm sure it will bring you many happy DIS days ahead!

Glad you got a payment plan that works for you. :thumbsup2

I would love some web cam video on your next trip. :)

Hooray for the new computer :cheer2:

but boo for the new payments :crazy2:

If you ever won the lottery, this is what all your DIS friends would be doing party:

My summer trip could be in jeopardy EEK! I think we are going to owe on our taxes, which has never happened before. I am hoping that things will look brighter once all of our tax papers and such come in the mail.
I just have the greatest husband, and I was so happy to hear him say that he was looking forward to going to WDW more than he ever had before! I know he is hoping as much as I am that I won't have to postpone it.
Have a great week! It's a crazy-schedule, busy every day and night kind of week around here. I'll look like this ---->:crazy:by next weekend!

I love the EP opening shot AND Goofy peak - a - booking. You captured a spcial moment... and were very lucky to be apart of it.

Congrats on the new computer!

Congrats on the new puter!!!

Here are 5 :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: for 5 weeks.

Crossing my fingers you win the lottery!

Thanks for the bananas. In a few more days, we can let another one 'peel out' of that line!

Oh yeah, I said it.
I totally did it on purpose, too, because of what Happydog said about being lame. She's got a long way to go to be lame in my eyes when it comes to Disney speak. ;)

Your "HP something looks" looks FANTASTIC on you!! I'm glad that you are still writing your last TR and hope that it will continue until your next trip. (or at least close)

It's HP and has a bunch of numbers. It says Windows 7. It allows me to have internet and pictures, so whatever else it does, I probably will never know. It has a built in webcam, so I am hoping we'll get a good spot at Pop so we can share some live stuff with you guys. :goodvibes

I'm working at this report pretty steadily, but still have quite a few pictures to go. I think it will last for another five weeks easily.

What a great new computer for you!

Now you can zippity do dah all over the DIS

Oh boy. Did I REEAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLY just say that?

I am lame.

Have a good week!

I will refer you to my 'peel out' comment, as well as my 'ToT goes the weasel' and Jackie's report. You are definitely not lame. Where else can we say such silly things and still be thought of as somewhat sane?!?!? ;)

Yes, you need a vacation! Living through them is not quite fair.
Lucky Charles getting to go to Hawaii!

Lookin' good in that new computer!

Ooooh, yeah! :cool1:
I'm having to get used to a different keyboard, so I'm making a lot of errors. The left/right bar (whatever you call that) is harder to push than my other one, too. That part is kind of annoying. I guess it'll loosen up or I'll just get used to it.

Congrats on the new purchase!

No interest. I was happy. :thumbsup2

We'll figure this webcam out and hope for a good spot to people watch at Pop on this trip. If we're poolside, that will be fun for you guys. I guess I would have to sign up on UStream or something? John will know.

Hooray for the new computer

Boo for payments, but yay for a computer that works and yay for no interest. I'm okay with that.

If my one dollar contribution wins the lottery, we will have that party, for sure!

I hope your summer trip happens. Maybe you could shorten it or cheapen it somehow, if you must, but still take it. Those fun breaks from work are necessary for our well-being. :goodvibes

I love the EP opening shot AND Goofy peak - a - booking. You captured a spcial moment... and were very lucky to be apart of it.

Congrats on the new computer!

My trips would be worth it if I never rode one ride. Just being with my family and watching the girls have such fun is enough for me.

It isn't lame -- I prefer to think of it as endearing and makes me laugh. :lmao:

I really like this little gift shop.
If I decide to do a Nemo bulletin board for next year, I can make a couple of purchases this summer. Anything we buy after July 1st can be taken from our room money.

Next up, it appears we got a whole lot of breakfast.

SSRStayOct2010465.jpg

We finally thought to take time to do a Kim Possible Mission, so we went to get our information.

SSRStayOct2010468.jpg

Another failed attempt at a good fountain picture.

SSRStayOct2010469.jpg

If it had been centered better, it could have been a good one.
I might be able to crop this one to make it do nicely in the collage picture frame whatever century I get around to doing it. ;)

SSRStayOct2010470.jpg

Now over to look at pins at ones of Jill's favorite pin stations.

It feels nice to be accepted, even with our endearing/lame comments. :thumbsup2

This is where it was revealed to us that Trent was really the rat, not the girls!

SSRStayOct2010495.jpg

Those are the three animals that I raised.

Cute little lunch bags.

SSRStayOct2010496.jpg

We got a kimchi wrap here in honor of Drew.

SSRStayOct2010497.jpg

I don't have a picture of it, for some reason. Maybe we got it later in the day and I just took a kiosk picture right then. I don't recall.

For the record, other than Ramen noodles, Drew does not like Asian food. He loves Mexican food, however.

SSRStayOct2010498.jpg

In Germany, the girls saw Snow White.

SSRStayOct2010499.jpg

I believe Bella had been asleep and woke up while Brooklynn was visiting with Snow White.

Next, something we had been excited to see.

I hope to use one of my dining snack credits there on the next trip. :thumbsup2

And that was it for Germany.

So nice to imagine a nice, sunny walk around EPCOT this morning... especially when it is 15 BELOW ZERO w/ windchill here this morning.

5 weeks!! :yay: Hope that flies right by for you!!

I hear ya!!!!

Not quite as cold here but I was still chilly until I walked around EPCOT.

Now I am warm. It may something to do with my coffee and 81 degree office but I will say it was EPCOT since I was still chilly before reading.

MeMom - you will love windows 7.

Congrats on the new computer! Even though it was an unintended purchase, sounds like you needed it.

We're only 4 weeks from our cruise!! I hope to do some updates from the ship if the computer time isn't too expensive.

Have a great day!!

Congratulations on your new computer. I understand payment plans very well. In two months I will actually own my children's beds. :cool1: The no interest payment plans work well for me too.

I love Brooklynn's nap comment.

I enjoyed the walk around Epcot this morning. It looks so pretty and warm there.

I was thinking the same thing.....pretty blue sky, palm trees, endless choices of food  It is absolutely frigid here today :cold:

I like the F&W pins that you posted....I don't really buy too many but if I happen to see something I really "need" then I will succumb. I do like the chocolate covered strawberry one :thumbsup2 Cute lunch bags too :)

I think I had the kimchi from South Korea too...maybe...It was something wrapped in lettuce and was pretty spicy...but good :thumbsup2

Oh the caramel shop....one of my favorite new places. I had the popcorn, strawberries, and one of the plain caramel apples. The other apples look so pretty but it is just too much stuff for me ;) Oh and I didn't eat all of that at once

brooklynsmommy, with absolutely no influence by or suggestion from memom, wouldn't you just LOVE to have this many girls
:dance3::dance3: to dance around the house and accompany you on future disney trips?!?!?

(it worked for my mom, anyway... ;) )

oh, hi MeMom :rolleyes1

Thanks for the beautiful walk around Epcot this morning MeMom! We aren't nearly as cold as most of the country right now, but it was 20 degrees when I dropped Jared off at school a couple of hours ago - that is much colder than I like it!

Love these pins!

Those caramel & chocolate covered strawberries looked to die for! Have one of those for me in just a few short weeks please!

I hope it flies by, too. I know last week did. I was in church Sunday morning, and before I realized it, it was Sunday again! Even with the snow day, it seemed to fly by.

Can't wait to hit up the carmel store in Aug. Everything looked so yummy.

I need a caramel apple covered in nuts. Pecans or almonds. either one.
I need a strawberry covered in chocolate and caramel, too.
I need to try the caramel popcorn, of course.
Decisions, decisions....

I'm sure I will like the laptop, and I know I will like it more when it is paid off in 18 months. :thumbsup2

I am dreaming of a warm opening day of F&G Festival in Epcot on March 2nd. We'll only have a half a day there, so I am hoping it will be really pretty.

Congrats on the new computer! Even though it was an unintended purchase, sounds like you needed it.

We're only 4 weeks from our cruise!! I hope to do some updates from the ship if the computer time isn't too expensive.

I did need it. I type up tests at home and dop research for teaching. I also am slightly addicted to the DIS and like my Disney music and podcasts playing in the background. A computer has become a necessity. ::yes::

We had the best caramel apple and caramel corn here.

Someone wrote that the caramel apple was like none they had ever had. I have a problem paying nine bucks for an apple, but I think this may be the time that I do.

I enjoyed the walk around Epcot this morning. It looks so pretty and warm there.

I have one bill that will be paid off in four more payments, so that will be nice. It's always nice to see one go or be ready to go when I pick up another one. ;)

The girls love apples, so they will share with me. They might not want the caramel part, but I won't mind slopping it over onto my part. I can get a strawberry for a snack credit and then buy an apple. Yummo!!!

Yeah, the kimchi in the lettuce wrap is what we got. It was okay.

Yeah, Jill - 6 girls!
I love the idea.

Well, since you insist, I guess I'll be pretty much forced to have one of those strawberries, right?

If we can just stay above freezing, or even just in the 30' period, I will be happy. When it dips low into the teens and twenties, I don't like the heating bills.

Thanks for taking me on a lovely stroll through World Showcase on a cold, dreary Chicago afternoon. I needed that little pick-me-up!

I also hope to try some treats from that Caramel shop (I'm not even going to try to spell it!).
