Based on your review of Norway Breakfast, I switched to a lunch reservation instead. My daughter is allergic to eggs and I think she would have had a hard time eating. Thank you so much for your pictures and review. I feel I made a much better choice with the lunch.

The next part you come to includes fruit and different toppings for I assume bagels. The toppings include cream cheese, onions, and capers. There is also pine apple, cantaloupe, honeydew melon and salmon.

We didn't see bagels when we went, but the lox was delicious with cream cheese on a nice croissant.
We agree that Akershus was better food than CRT and the princesses spent much more time with you at Akershus.
And it's less crowded and only 1 TS credit as opposed to 2 TS.
A much better experience in our opinion (although with little princesses, you have to eat in the Castle at least once!)

Keep in mind that with the cold buffet, there is soooo much more to breakfast at Akershus than the eggs. It may still be worth it for you...

I am in. I love your motto, I think that is mine to. I think I am just as excited about all the eating on vacation as I am about the fact that we will be at disney. I will just have to work extra hard when I get back to lose weight.

That cheese plate and bread look so yummy! I think we will have to get that as a snack and some boozy slushies in 13 days! What types of cheeses were they? Was the bread cold or room temp? Was there butter too?

The cheeses are Brie, Swiss and I am blanking on the last one sorry! The bread is room temp but they have microwaves so if you wanted it warmer I am assuming they could just warm it up. No there was no butter but I am sure you could ask for some

I worked at the Virgin Megastore for a while a few years back, and I used to go get the chicken and mashed potatoes. That picture that you posted brought back some very fond memories It has to be some of the best I've ever had

I know I miss those mashed potatoes terribly

I have heard so many good comments on the cheese and bread I'm definitely having that for lunch one day.....oh who am I kidding, I'll be having the Grey Goose slushie too

I just stumbled onto this dining review because I love the title! I loved WPE last time we went and have convinced everyone else in our group that we need to eat there again. My DH can't wait to try the Boulangerie Patisserie so thanks for the photos on that. Looks so good! Love the outfit that you are wearing at the breakfast by the way. Cute! I am so happy I could help! Although they do have the cold bar everything on the hot plate touches the eggs except for the sausage. You will have to write up a dining review of the lunch I have always wanted to try Akerhus later on in the day.

Me: I am 18 and I am going to be a sophomore in college. I got on the Dean's list both semesters my first year so that was what we were celebrating while at Disney. I got a couple cool desserts from my rents and that's how I celebrate . I am a huge fan of food! There is close to nothing that I won't eat and if I have never tried it before I am up for trying it! I don't know how trustworthy my opinion can be since I love food in general

I know most people don't realize everything that the Patiesserie holds! It's also a great deal for three good slices of cheese and a loaf of bread. It's big enough for lunch for one or to just share with someone for a snack. No problem you need to check it out!

First off I wanted to apologize for not updating the past couple of days My sinuses have been horrible since I got back from Disney and I had to work all this past weekend so I didn’t have time. I am sorry I will try to be more attentive to my dining review.

So off to breakfast at

I really liked the theme of this restaurant. It looks like a quaint little beach restaurant and all of the decorations are wonderful!

But on to the important stuff the food!
They have a bagel and toast buffet when you first walk into the restaurant. They have everything you could ever want to put on your bagel! The options include tomato, capers and lox (smoked salmon).

My mom’s only complaint was that they had melted butter and not individually wrapped butter. All she had to do was ask the waitress for some and she brought them right out.

The first part of the cold bar includes all of the fruit. Watermelon, grapes, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and pineapple just to name a few.

The other half of the cold bar is the yogurt bar. They have anything you could ever want to put on your yogurt! Also they have pre-peeled grapefruit and oranges. Across from the pre-peeled fruit is strawberries and hard boiled eggs

The first part of the hot bar includes asparagus (my dad really enjoyed that) bacon, sausage, some omelet egg thing that had cheese and different vegetables in it which we all enjoyed, eggs and potatoes. Everything was very good!

The other half of the hot bar includes Mickey waffles, biscuits and gravy and a very yummy breakfast pizza!

On the backside of the buffet are all of the pastries.
First bananas and croissants.

Then cinnamon buns, chocolate croissants, and muffins.

Then icing covered croissants, and strawberry Danishes.

I loved the Danishes!

Then some more cinnamon buns, muffins and blueberry bread.

My mom loved the blueberry bread!

Then last but not least the cereal bar. It includes cheerios, frosted flakes and fruit loops. I love the little captain’s wheel decoration.

The breakfast was very relaxing and we all enjoyed the food!

This was a character breakfast so I will have to show character pictures!!!! These were some more characters that saw me as too old for any real interaction other than a picture. We saw Donald, Minnie and Goofy. The only reason I wanted to go to this breakfast was for their outfits! I saw the pictures on someone's trip report and just fell in love with them in their beach clothes!

Goofy was very good and very in character.

I have to admit I was very disappointed when Minnie didn’t say anything about the Mickey Mouse shirt I had on .

They interacted a lot with the younger ones though so if you have little kids the character interaction would be worth the price.



Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The food was good the theme of the restaurant was nice and a good change from other character places and it was fun seeing the characters.

DDP: 3 Table service meals.
Comments: It is a nice place for a relaxing meal and I would assume it would be quieter than a breakfast at Chef Mickey’s since there weren’t many families there and everyone was spread out from one another.

WOW! Great reviews! I usually don't post in review threads because people are here to see the food and not read my rambling posts ... ... but I just had to! I really enjoyed your pics of the "Mardi Gras parade float" items at your resort - I don't think I have ever seen a pic of them!

I noticed you had your Lime Green Mickey Head on -- did anyone notice and say anything? I wear mine in a "badge holder" on my ever so fashionable fanny pack but no one ever said anything!

Anyway ... thanks for taking the time to review - I am totally enjoying them ... and now I am hungry!!!

I must say that this is the best dining report I've ever read! And I'm not just saying that because I'm your mother! But honestly, you're doing a great job! That Cape May breakfast was the best! The food was so good and the characters all stopped by 2 or 3 times too!
