My Magical Room Assigner!!!

I am sooooo excited. My sister and I heading to the Grand Floridian on Tuesday for six days. Our first time at this resort.
I faxed the room assigner early yesterday morning telling him of the two special events we are celebrating. At one pm, my phone rang. It was the room assigner from the Grand Floridian. My heart stopped. We have been upgraded to Sugar Loaf and all that entails with the concierge level. I am still shaking from the shock of it all. This is something we could never have afforded on our own!!!! So the magic does happen. Try it.

That's fantastic news--- by chance, would you happen to know the fax number for the assigner at Wilderness Lodge?

Here's a link for the fax #'s of all the resorts : www.allearsnet.com/acc/res_phn.htm[/URL] . Deb's page says that the WL does not accept room requests via fax, but you can always try. By the way, don't get your hopes up, these are only requests and not guarantees, but we have found in our experience the room assigners do the best they can.

That's wonderful news!! We were upgraded to concierge there also. I was pleasantly surprised. I had requested Conch Key since we had stayed there before. Conch Key was made concierge during the rehab of the main building, so they granted my request and we had concierge.

It was a few years ago, so I don't really remember much about the food. My kids were happy to get snacks and drinks in the afternoon.

I didn't use the services because I had planned everything we needed before we left (maybe I should get a job there LOL!).

WL no longer accepts requests via fax due to the popularity of the faxes. Trust me, this info came to me from a WL room assigner herself!!
