any info is greatly appreciated!!I've been to alot of the battlefields and Civil War stuff and Natural Bridge! I might be able to help as well!
That is, if it's ok with Carissa!![]()
I've been out to Lexington and the Natural Bridge as well. It's beautiful out there. I saw Stonewall Jackson's house and Monticello.
Cherie - How far are you wanting to travel? I figured you just wanted to do Richmond area and Williamsburg?
We are open to anything right now. I've been trying to find some inexpensive activites to do with the kids. I can only drag them to so many historical things without there being a total mutiny.
How much time do you think we need in williamsburg? and what pass do I need to buy? I'm unsure of which one I need and being a tight wad, I want to go as cheap as I can.
what is a farm share?

I played 3 varsity sports in highschool and was always extremely in shape until I had my babies and now have let myself go. I enjoy eating! The stress and business of my days make it easy to grab junk food and hence the reason I am now very overweight. I have just dropped the bomb on my mom giving her the idea that it would be great for the two of us to go to disney for a few days and celebrate being women. I then told asked her if she would pay my way as a christmas gift.
I am an only child so I have to admit I am a little spoiled still....even at the age of 31. My mom usually spends alot on christmas so I would love the trip instead of any other gifts. I know my mom would love to get away as well as myself needing the time too. I too would feel horrible leaving the boys and my husband behind but sometimes you have to do these things for yourself. right? Well just wanted to say thanks again for the inspiration....I will be following along on you journey...Good Luck!
and thanks for stopping by! Challenging myself with the half-marathon has really helped me change my life in 2010. It was the catalyst I needed to do something and get serious.
I'm a real graduate!
It feels good to have stuck with something for so long and actually accomplish a goal.
My training journal entries will become more informal from here on out. I also have lots of plans starting to form for my trips and I will try to get to that soon.
