Please, please, please consider making your kitties indoor cats. They will be safer and you won't have to worry about something like this happening to any of your other babies.

Glad to hear that there is no need for surgery. Hope he can relax and realize that you are only trying to help. It is so hard when they are in pain and you cannot make them understand that you only want them to feel better!

I had to laugh at your cat's name.... my first cat that was just mine (not a family pet) was a cat I received in Jan 1990...and he was promptly named "Sebastian".... looks like we like the same movie!......................P

I sure hope your kitty continues to heal quickly. Poor thing.

We're pretty sure my kitty was hit by a car at the beginnning of the summer, the night before we left for Disney no less!! I was worried sick while we were gone but here we are 2 months later and my kitty is doing pretty well. I swear they really do have 9 lives!!!!

Technically the cats name is Stars. We had 2 brothers and the kids named them Stars and Stripes. Well, Stars was and still is the biggest klutz around! He falls off stools, misjudges dorrways and walks into them, jumps unto something and misses. He's such a knucklehead! Well, after watching him "flounder" around, my DH gave him the nickname Flounder, it stuck! Of course peple assume its from the Little Mermaid, but we tell them, no, he's just a klutz! LOL

Can't you go to the vet and get the pain patch and put it on yourself.

I have the patch. I had to go to the phamacy to pick it up to bring to the vets. He has to have an area shaved for it to be put on, plus they wanted to recheck him.
