Well, not to be mushy, but I guess God knew what He was doing when He chose Minnie for you. He knew that she might break your heart eventually, but that you would step up to the plate for her. That says a lot about you and your family. I guess that was mushy. Sorry.

We lost our baby cat at the beginning of the year to Lymphoma. She was only given 3-4 months when she was diagnosed but she lasted 13 months.
Your posting about pills just reminded me of our struggle with Buffy! She was just a little tiny cat but it took both my DH and I with the cat wrapped in a blanket to get her to take anything!
It's such an awful illness but if it's any comfort to you our kitty was well and strong right up to the week we lost her. She coped with the chemo very well and was happy and purry and cuddly right to the end.
Her brother took it very hard when we lost her but he's since become doubly playful and doubly affectionate to make up for her.
