My June trip is OFF!

I was going to meet friends at WDW on June 12-14th, but she had to cancel due to her DD failing the FCAT and not being advanced to the 4th grade. Her DD will have to take a one month reading course, and it starts June 1-30. I realized this is more important than going to Disney, but I am still dissappointed. She is re-scheduling for July, but, I do not think I want to go at that time.

I say go in July. Don't let a little heat and crowds scare ya. You'll be at WDW and that's all that matters. I hope you go and have a great time.

We ALWAYS go in late June/early July. Sure it's hot and there's a good rain shower almost every day, but it DISNEY!!!

Seriously, with some pre planning behind you, you'll have a wonderful time. Just make sure you've got a PS for at least one nice meal per day during the heat of the day and use FPs like there is no tomorrow--get them as soon as you enter the Parks, don't wait.

I would think your friend's main priority should be her kids, it sounds like they both struggle in reading fundamentals--so I say go when YOU want to go--she may not be able to go at all this summer.

I agree, her DD is her MAIN priority. I can really hold off on going in June/July and that way I will have more $$ to spend in Nov. when my Granddaughter goes for the first time.
