My Journal to Me - Comments welcome!

Didn't do a good job keeping track of what I ate yesterday. It was rainy & cold and I was definitely "snacky". This is what I can remember:

b- slice ham, 1c GoLean cereal, 1/2 banana, 2oz milk, 12oz hot chocolate
s - apple?
l- 1/2 wholewheat ham sandwich, 7 baby carrots
s- granola bar
s- LF LC wedge
s- 1.2oz almond pack
d- +2c black bean soup (yum!), 2c spinach salad w/ 1t Cilantro dressing, 1 slice bread & butter, 12oz skim milk
I'm pretty sure there was other stuff, but I don't remember what. :confused3
64 oz water

DD3 got some "princess" dress up stuff for christmas. One of the dresses she wore for the first time yesterday. It has silver glittery sparkle stuff EVERYWHERE! It looks like some crazy cross between a 70's disco and a crime scene with that glow in the dark stuff. You can tell everywhere she has been - which is pretty much EVERYWHERE! Now I have to figure out how to get it cleaned up before Bunco tomorrow night. :confused3 off to clean ...

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I am really motivated to get to the 150's now.

Amy -the grilled veggie sandwich was from the counter place between Buzz Lightyear and Innoventions. It was really good. I doubt it was low fat though with a spicy mayo type sauce and cheese! I looked at the website and there is an El Torito on Ball Rd between 5 & 57. It can't be more than a couple of miles from DL.

DD had an Ariel costume for one of her dance recitals that was a glitter nightmare as well. I cleaned it up the best I could (and I'm sure the dog licked some up too) and the rest disappeared eventually!

We have the same rainy, yucky weather, 2 days in a row now. What a weird, unusual winter!!!

You are really doing great with your eating, keep it up and those 150's will be yours! :thumbsup2

Those costumes can be a handful can't they? My DD had one where all the glitter fell off and you could trail where she had been in the house. We've had a glow stick leak all over the place too and that provides some extra "light" all over the house!:lmao:

You are doing great, Anna! The 150's are yours... All you have to do is reach out and grab them! You CAN do it!:cheer2:

Have a great day tomorrow!:goodvibes

Hi Anna
Hope you managed to get the glitter cleaned up, oh but seeing your DD all dressed up & leaving a trail everywhere - what a lovely memory that will make :)
Your food didnt look that bad :)
Have a great week :)

Anna, thanks for the El Torito tip, I will check out the website and mapquest directions on how to get there! I have also made a note of where the grilled veggie sandwich can be found. Its very important to get my food situated 5 months before my trip ;) of course !

You are doing great, colder days = snacky days for us all. Don't move to Colorado is my best advice to avoid having too many of them! And I was laughing at the dress up glitter. I remember when my dd got a trunk full of dress ups, one of the gowns had feathery trim on it. It was everywhere, including Benjamin's (our beagle) poop! That was years ago and even in the last year I have found feather junk deep inside the couch cushions!

Have a great weekend!

Hi, Anna! Congratulations on the huge loss! :woohoo: I hope you have a fabulous weekend, sweetie, on your way to the 150s! :thumbsup2

Congrats on the loss!!!!
Keep up the good work!!!

I'm so jealous that you can go to DL so much!! I've been to WDW - once!!!
Can't wait to go back!!!
Oh, and if you want some more glittery dress up stuff, let me know...I'm sure I've got somearound here somewhere!!! (dd is 7...outgrowing all of her dress-ups)

Hi Anna,

Congrats on the loss!!

Gotta love those costumes. My DD is 12, and just finally getting out of the dress-up thing. She's still in drama club and does like costumes, just not all the glittery feathery stuff anymore.:

Have a good weekend!goodvibes

I hope you're having a good weekend, Anna! Glitter clean up - ICK!!! It just never seems to go away!

Have you been walking on the beach lately? DH is hopefully going to a Seminar in June (last year it was Orlando) in San Diego and I'm really hoping for some nice Beach time! If he goes, DD & I will, too and I will definitely hit DLand for the first time since early 1991.

Sorry to go MIA again. I've gotten sucked into the craziness on the cruise forum and I'm running solo with DH out of town again. Luckily he was home for the weekend so he took care of DD3 while I was with the older two at a swim meet. Weather here has been bizarre. Cold and yucky last week then record breaking high's over the weekend (80's!) Made the swim meet way more pleasant than the "Iceman" last month though. :rotfl2: The swim meet went well for both kids. In fact, Coach has put DD12 on the JO (Junior Olympics) "B" relay team in two weeks:banana: Didn't think she really swam that fast, but I guess she does:confused3 . Of course, this means even MORE swim practice (sigh!)

I did ok food wise until the weekend. I made a yummy soup and bread for Bunco and had mostly healthy appetizers beforehand. Even found some reasonable snacks too: trail mix, PB pretzels, cashews, and tiny little PB cups (ok those aren't healthy, but really good!) Everything got out of control at the swim meet though. I've basically been sustaining life on the leftover Bunco snacks. Supposed to be for the kids, but I ate way too many of them - just too much of everything and it showed up on the scale. Back to 163.0 at yesterday's WI :sad2: .

Got back on track today though, and I am determined to be good. I do NOT want to see the scale go up again. I'm looking for DOWN here people! The weather is gorgeous and I was really looking forward to a great beach walk after I took DD3 to preschool. Instead, I had to take care of one of my bonehead mistakes.:sad2: I used DH's car over the weekend for the swim meet. I left my wallet in his glovebox. His car is parked at the airport for the week. I've got $3 cash in my pocket for the week.... This morning I drove to the airport (40 minutes away) and prowled around the parking garage until I found his car and my wallet. :rotfl2:

Food:
b- 1c golean cereal, 12oz skim milk, banana
s- banana
l- 6oz FF yogurt, 10 baby carrots, 8 grape tomatoes
s- LF LC wedge, 4 crackers
d - pasta & chicken something with a spinach salad????
water - didn't keep track today... probably not enough
Haven't entered totals into Fitday and probably won't get a chance to until DH gets back at the end of the week.
Exercise - nada, tomorrow i WILL do the WATP DVD if I can't get outside for a walk.:thumbsup2

Anna

I'm going to try and get to some journals tonight after the kids go to bed. Thanks for sticking with me wish buddies. :grouphug:

Did you say the weather is warm enough for a beach walk?:beach: I am so jealous! It's been below zero here since Sunday! BRRR!!:cold:

Congrats go out to your DD! :cheer2: Is she excited to be on a new relay team?

I'm glad that you found your wallet! :drive:

Have a wonderful Wednesday!:goodvibes

Ahh, warm weather and beach walks, you are killing me Anna! That is not too bad of a gain, its probably already gone with your good day today. I am glad you found your wallet! It is so hard to do well when there are too many temptations in the house, I had some leftovers from a get together we had plus Harry and David and it sure made it tough! Maybe throw the leftovers away if all else fails. You are doing really well, a small setback now and again is par for the longterm course. The 150's are still close and just waiting for you to join them!

We are weather twins! We finally hit the 80's this week as well, and now it's back in the upper 70's. YAY!!!! :yay:

I really wanted to take one of the Mexican Disney cruises, but it is just too expensive! We could stay in a suite on a different cruiseline for that much money. I've pretty much determined that our Western Caribbean was the one and only Disney cruise we'll go on. There are just too many other places we want to go! Are you going to be able to take advantage of the Magic coming back to CA?

Sounds like you are back on track with your eating, don't worry, the scale will go back down - it always does! :wizard:

Hi Anna
wow tempretures in the 80's, i've forgotten what that even feels like!!!!
Please send some sun over 'the pond' their forcasting 6 inches of snow tonight & the heaviest snowfall in 40 years!!! & my DH is on call for road gritting (salting) :(

I'm sure that scale will go down & down :)

Hi, Anna! You must be so proud of DD for making the JO B Team!

Your episode with the wallet certainly sounds like something I would do! :rotfl: I am glad you had no problem (other than the inconvenience) in getting it back!

Lucky you with the warm weather. The temps have been so cold here and the windchill has been unbelievable, but it is 26 today! I am glad there is at least the prospect of getting in a beach walk for you. :goodvibes: Keep up the dligence in eating and you will be in the 150s in no time at all!

Sending you a

Congrats to DD for the JO swim team!!! That's great!!!

I know what you're going through...my DH is out of town this week too, and it's really hard for me to be motivated to go workout...but WE (you, me, and everyone else!) have to stick to the plan...stay on track!!!
You've been doing great...the scale will go down...I promise!

marie :flower3:
