I would have someone come look at your furnace right away.

I really think you should have this checked out right away. I really think that there could be something wrong with your furnace.

Is it possible that one of your dd's dropped a bottle of polish and don't want to tell you? This happened to me a few years back my dd dropped a bottle on the bathroom tile and tried to clean it up before I saw it. The whole house smelled like a nail salon!!!
When I was a little girl, I spilled some nail polish on my mothers dresser right before we went out of town. I thought if I covered it with a book, it would go away :confused3 WRONG! When we got home my mother went to grab the book and the whole finish of the dresser came off with the book! :earseek: oooohhhhh, was I in trouble! :rotfl:

Well..........

My furnace is 4 floors below me, in the basement. Its not forced hot air- its hot water, and has no smell when it's on....I did think of that first, and actually called a friend of mine who owns a heating business to inquire if it could be something from the furnace...

BUT

Seems someone decided to paint their toenails in my bathroom, while sitting on the floor, and spilled the nail polish and then put the bath mat OVER it.

Seems you would find a DD9 on the floor in the bathroom cleaning it up WITHOUT nailpolish remover because my head hurts enough as it is....lets just say, I doubt she will spill it and not tell me again!

I did a "Come on Goo, have you EVER done something and gotten away with it?" to which she replied "no" and she got a "dont think it's going to start now"....

well, I spilt nail polish remover on a comforter once; the remover "burnt" a wicked huge hole in the comforter....my mother blamed the dog..... :dog:

LOL funny story...when I was 13, we went to Disney and my best friend came w/my family. We stayed at the old Fairway Villas. Anyway, once we got settled BF and I wanted to do our nails so we sat on the bed with our bottle of nail polish remover and different nail polishes. I kept telling her do NOT shake the bed....be VERY careful so we don't spill the stuff. So then she needed a kleenex and nice friend I am, went to get it for her, came back and plopped myself on the bed...spilled almost the whole bottle of nail polish remover. Wow, talk about a strong smell!! It was pretty funny though, and seeing as how that was almost 20 yrs ago, obviously pretty memorable too.

When I was in 8th or 9th grade I made the mistake of carrying a glass bottle full around in my purse. Well I was sitting in class waiting for class to end and started swinging my purse around. It hit the desk a few times, and then after a few minutes I smelled it! Stupid me had forgot it was there and naturally glass can take just so much banging.:) Of course it made a mess of my purse and FUSED shut a favorite makeup compact of mine. There was no getting that compact open ever again! Learned never to do that again. :rotfl:
