My heart is broken mini update post 243

I am so sorry and my heart goes out to you. There are no words...

I am so sorry for you loss.

Today in church the lesson was about David losing his son Absolom. The minister was talking about losing a child and that God would be there. All I could do was think about you.

Peace be with you.

I am so sorry. You and your family are in my prayers today. Peace be with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't begin to express how sad I am for you.

As the many other shere, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so very, very sorry for your loss. My prayers will be with you.

I lost my 16 year old younger brother when I was a sophomore in college. It did take a long, long time for my parents to begin to heal. Be sure not to isolate yourself.

Lean on your family and friends, try to stay or get involved in something that keeps you busy and make you feel fulfilled as soon as you are up to it.

My parents did start to have more normal lives again after I had children and they got involved in my girls' lives.

They are able to look back now at all the happy memories that we have of my brother growing up.

So tragic - please know there are many prayers with you.

I am so, so sorry. :( I can not imagine how heartbroken you must be. I can think of no greater pain than losing a child. You will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Oh my word. I am so so sorry!

Praying for the days ahead as I know they will be the most difficult you will ever have to face.

I am so sorry for your loss. May God be with you and your family. You are in my prayers.

Oh my goodness, I am so very sorry for what you and your family are going through. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Forgive me for saying this if it upsets you but that driver needs to be given the stiffest penalty possible and should never see the light of day again if he/she wasn't having some sort of medical episode.

One thing that may help you get through this time a little easier, although nothing will really make this time easy on you, is going to see a counselor at your local Hospice office. The service is free to anyone who has lost a loved one. I highly recommend their services. They were a HUGE help to me when I lost someone suddenly and unexpectedly.

Remember to take it one day at a time. Don't look way out into the future because right now you have to focus on yourself getting through each day, each minute. Remember to take time to take care of yourself and take time to be alone if that is what you need. It is okay for you to take time to do something good for yourself too. There is nothing wrong with that. If you want to go get a manicure or pedicure that is okay, you are not being selfish. You need time for that. Honestly you do because if you don't you will get run down and possibly sick. Take care of yourself for your son as well as for yourself. And remember you don't have to take care of everyone around you right now, let them take care of you. I hope this come across as trying to be helpful because that's why I'm trying to do.
