ask your pharmacist for plain gylcerin -- it's like thick baby oil and use it every night. It works like a charm and it's cheap!

Good ole vaseline petroleum jelly...my podiatrist (last summer) suggested I use it on my FEET. So I found out that by slathering VPJ all over your feet before bed w/socks, that it is all over your hands and you rub it all into your hands and PRESTO, now my hands are the smoothest that they have ever been in YEARS!!! So go for the cheaper version FIRST!! Save all your $$$ from buying all those costly hand cremes. If you find you don't think your hands are nice and soft from the VPJ, then spend the $$$ on super duper hand cremes....!!!!

I wish the normal soap I buy had such a nice texture!Lorikr65 said:This weather in the northeast is a killer on my hands!! They are rough (DH thinks it's funny to call me alligator hands!) and sometimes they even split. I don't have ezcema or any condition like that, just wash my hands alot. Anyone have suggestions of some good hand cream??
Thanks - Lori
