My fur baby is leaving me today

Lilfoot, my baby, is on his way to NJ to catch a flight to Costa Rica. My friend Debbie is going to meet him there and keep him with her till my husband gets there next month. Selling the house was a piece of cake compared to saying goodbye to my baby
At least I'll see him in August but I am not sure I can stay here a whole year without my DH and my fur baby. I am starting to think maybe waiting a year to finsh my Masters is just not worth it.
I am just so so sad today

OOOOhhhh, I have a GREAT idea.

Katie, we will send the three boys (your 2, and my one) to keep Jana company. I'm sure she would love having 3 little visitors under the age of 8, and all boys to boot!!!

She'll be so darn busy chasing after them, she won't have time to be lonely!

I wish you all the best getting through this. I had friends that had something similar to face. His job relocated, she was in dental school finishing up on her specialization. While it seemed an eternity it was worth it to go through. You will/can get through. You have great support here and look to your friends too. The time will pass. Make the most of it.

I too thought something else.

Jana, you can do this. It won't be easy, but you've got great friends. You have already thought about it and this is the best thing to do. You already know it. Now you have to be strong and figure out how to get through it.

When my new husband was sent to germany without me there were a few things that helped. Letters, phone calls, and audio tapes. Now there are videos, and possibly you can visit in person now and then.

And this, I really regret not going to college, you have come so far, don't stop now.
