My friends the summer offer will be

She said it was simply their value season discount. How ridiculous! The value season doesn't extend into December! I find it ridiculous that Disney can put a commercial on television and have their call center have absolutely no information about it. I told her we go every year, so hopefully she would know I have at least some idea what I was talking about. She still tried to tell me it was their normal value season prices. Very frustrating........
You're right that technically those dates are not all "value season". Some of them are "fall season" and some are "regular season". Disney has created so many "seasons" that it's hard to keep track of them all! It doesn't help that the seasons also vary by resort level!

However, Disney has always run these types of commercials for stays "as low as" a certain price. And those commercials have always been for the rack rates. The key is to be aware of what their normal pricing is.

Am I understanding right that each resort in each category may have a different % off like CSR might be 25% but POR may be only 20% even though they are both mods? Is it 15% or more for values, 20% or more for mods?

All resorts within a resort level can have a different % off. Even two room types at the same resort can have a different % off. Sometimes a value room will only get a 5% off discount. 15% is usually the highest for values, but as with anything Disney, there are exceptions to the norm.

Thanks Danny for posting this. Based on this and the history of the last two years I think I'm pretty much stuck with what I have. Staying at AoA LM from 8/17-8/23 so I think I'm right smack in the middle of the no discount window and since I'm staying at AoA LM there likely wouldn't be a discount anyways. On the off chance they bump the FD promo back a week from 8/25 then maybe I can talk my wife into moving to Pop or an AoA suite for FD but I'm not banking on it. Good thing we budgeted for the full amount!

Marionnette is correct. Price out the Resort, room Type etc...beforehand Disney is The Master at Promoteing Rack Rate and making it look like a "Deal"

Danny- you wouldn't happen to know when the next round of passholder discounts might be hitting? We currently have the discount for only the first 2 days of out 6/2-6/10 trip becuase we cannot add dining plan unless we book under a passholder rate and we really like the convinence. Would love to get a discount on the remaining days!

So am I correct in thinking that there will probably NOT be a room discount offered for my time frame- August 21-25th? Thanks to anyone who is able to offer an opinion. :goodvibes

Ahhhhhhh.... and the waiting continues.... We are booked at POR for August 18-24th. Keeping fingers crossed for another discount after this latest one! We budgeted for the whole shabang but I love to save money!!

Like always maximun 14 nigths and the offer it´s for stays June 13 to August 14

This helps us out a lot because our trip is supposed to start on June 14th, which is the last day of the current promotion. Now we can hopefully have the discount applied to our whole trip.

I do want to be sure that the spring discount and summer discount overlap by those couple of days though???

Thanks so much!!!

Historically, they've done just that almost every year.

I sure hope the date is wrong since we check out 2 days later on August 16th :worried:. So if the offers ends August 14th does that mean you get discount for the night of the 14th?

If I am reading Mousesavers correct where she list the historical release dates for discounts, last year they had a room only discount the day after the other one ended.

Thank you SO MUCH Danny!!! This is great news and I can hardly wait to call on April 2nd!!

Does anyone know how much savings I would get on room discount and ticket discount?? Im currently booked:

Coronado Springs
2 adults + 17yr old + 10 yr old (4 Disney adults)
June 15-24 (9 nights)
8 day Base Tickets
Disney Dining Plan
Total: $5,360.00

Anyone good with numbers who can help me out??? :)

I'm currently booked for mid June. I have the first few days of the stay discounted under the current Spring offers discount. Would I be able to call and have the end of our trip discounted under the new one as well once the offer starts?

VACAMM- go on mousesavers under the resort prices and find some spring dates that cost the same as your June dates. Then go the WDW special offers site and put in the fake spring dates and the rest of your info to find the price. That's what I did. It might give you a little bit of an idea of your discount including the tickets but there is no way of knowing for sure what the % off will be for your hotel.

I priced it out using the current discount for earlier dates in June and came up with 5028.24. This price was for a standard view room.
