What are the dates that this visa promo is good for? Trying to see when you have to check in by? THink its still to early for me....

We are booked BC 6/18-6/22 with 5 day tickets and saved $562 with the Visa discount! Had to upgrade from standard view to garden view. When I priced our vacation out leaving a week early to get the current promotion ending 6/14 standard view rooms were included, leaving us saving around $614. Does this mean that more standard view rooms are booked for the summer and thats why they are not included? If standard rooms are not included for the Visa discount for the summer that means they wont be included in the discount when its released to the general public, right?

Standard rooms are included in the Visa discount, it just means there were not any Visa Discount standard view rooms available during your stay. It is possible it is only 1 night of your stay that discount is not available, but would come up as not available at all.

It is possible that standard view summer discount rooms are available when the offer comes out on 4/2 as it is a separate discount. Possible (but not likely) so you could try then if you like.

However, I don't think you will be disappointed in the upgrade to the garden view. For the the very small amount it costs, your view will be much improved.

IMHO, the only benefit to being a Disney Visa holder is the ability to book a little early if you’re worried about a room category selling out.

Which is kind of huge, since WDW told me the Std view and Lagoon View rooms at the Poly that were discount eligible both sold out today.

Thanks, that makes sense. I was thinking I might call in the morning its released to public just to check. Would like to have all of our rooms in the same vicinity so wasn't sure if I had garden view and they were standard view if it would cause us to be separated.

Yea only a few hours late and we all have known since a few weeks ago. Lol the sad thing is a few options are already sold out and some folks are just receiving this information.

Remember that this morning they were booking this room and since it wasn't announced, that means it was folks like us. Even though there's a lot of us, we are a small drop in the bucket. Most folks don't go as crazy as we do.

That said, just keep calling. You'll get what you want.

I'm wondering the same thing and we are going aug 18-22 and it seems so silly that we would be going just outside of two discount offers What is the pattern of discounts? Following the release of these discounts is making me a little crazy

I just called and changed our reservation to Beach Club. Saved the 30% and only had to put down $17 and some change on my Visa, which was the balance of the room after I applied some Disney gift cards I had. All categories were available that I checked on, except Garden View and Standard View at Yacht Club.

Keep trying to call if what you want is not open now....
