If it is, you have an excellent chance that you will get it on Tuesday (POR is a HUGE resort, with a huge inventory). If its not available, then the chances are slim to none that it will be discounted.

I'm wondering the same thing and we are going aug 18-22 and it seems so silly that we would be going just outside of two discount offers What is the pattern of discounts? Following the release of these discounts is making me a little crazy

Here are the Historic Patterns for fall free dining offers. I'm looking for the trend going back to late April, leaning toward April 25.

2006 - Booking started April 1
2007 - Booking started April 9
2008 - Booking started April 7
2009 - Booking started March 30
2010 - Booking Started April 29
2011 - Booking Started April 28
2012 - Booking Started March 1

Normally I would say yes, but since the CL area is small (relative to the rest of the resort) I would probably try to make the call during your lunch hour if you can...

I called to compare prices of this new sale versus the Orbitz booking I already had for our mid-June stay, which was 20% off room only...this sale actually priced $200 higher at POFQ, which is where we are currently at and about the same I paid if we were willing to move to PO.

So, we are staying put! But at least I feel better that I called and compared!

I got a garden view with the discount, however it wasn't much of a savings. (About $40) Still, a room upgrade for me. I didn't go in expecting much being booked at POFQ. I'm just glad to finally be going back to my happy place!!

Hi! I am not going until Oct, but I assume at some point some sort of discount will come out. We are currently using a AAA agent. I have a Disney Visa. Will AAA change my booking for me if the discount is better or would I need to rebook myself? I am wondering now bc we are going to switch resorts and I will probably do that on Mon, I am just wondering if I should cancel AAA reservations and go with something else. thank you!!
Also, would you have to book the trip on your Disney Visa? Or can you just use the code and put a partial amount on your Visa? My limit is not enough to pay for my vacation! Thanks again!

I know everyone probably knew this but me but I already had an existing reservation due to the importance of our trip, so I had already paid a deposit. Well I called this morning to apply the Visa discount (saved $700 off 4 nights of our 6 night stay ) I knew she had to do a new reservation but she said that leaves you owing X amount, so I said that includes my previous deposit and she said yes (not bashing her, I absolutely loved her). So I added tickets and then when I looked at e-mail and ran numbers it didn't add up. So long story short after 2 more calls (2nd CM was in a rush) the CM explained they had already credited my Visa for the first deposit and charged me a new deposit of a different amount. Just wanted to share so no one spent 3 hours running numbers .

Is it still looking like the next (room only) discount will not start until 8/24? Not looking for free dining necessarily, just a little room discount on my 8/21-8/25 trip. Thanks

My ressies are August 10-16 which means this latest Visa offer is only good for the first 4 nights but the CM I talked to this morning said for me to keep an eye out for new discounts and I can apply the new discount for the last 2 nights . So her to keeping my fingers crossed for us!,

Every resort for every day will have a different set of "available" rooms. It just depends on occupancy. If the first CM said it wasn't available for your dates, its not. But you can always look on-line on Tuesday when the discount is released to the General Public and becomes bookable on-line through the Special Offers page.

My DH thinks I am crazy... I feel such anxiety waiting until Tuesday knowing that the deal is now out for the Visa card holders, lol! Does anyone know what time on Tuesday the deal is usually open? I'm wondering if we can do it before we leave for school in the morning or if we will have to wait for a break...

I almost forgot to check this morning! I was able to keep my package reservation at POR with the discount and add 5 nights at the Beach Club.
I was able to get one standard view at BC but by the time we started the second room at BC they ran out of standard views! I booked our second room as garden view.
POR preferred was 20% off and BC was 30% off!
