My friend/coworker passed away this morning :(

My boss called to tell me that my friend who has been battling non Hodgkins Lymphoma passed away. She was a very hard donar match being half American and half Jamaican. I am so sad and blue. I will miss her smile,insight and cheerful words. She was in the end a victum of 9/11 she inhaled that crap the buildings spewed into the air. Her brother died last year from the same thing. He was a NYC firefighter. If you could say a prayer for her family. She is leaving behind 2 young children.

I had a good friend pass away in December because she was waiting on a donor so I understand how heartbreaking it is.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's extremely sad that 9/11 is still claiming victims, whose names will never be officially recognized as victims of that horrible day. When I remember on 9/11 each year, I'll be sure to remember this thread and say a prayer for your friend and her brother.
