We enjoy going out to listen to bands, but we have pretty specific tastes in music. Places we like to go could be doing country, rock, alternative, dance music, retro dance music, a DJ, or whatever. They cater to wide audiences.

But, some of these venues are terrible about maintaining a schedule on their websites/social media pages. It's frustrating when you're trying to make plans.

Right now, DW is trying to put together a girls weekend st the lake. She knows where she wants to stay, but their website calendar is currently blank. It was populated for the entire Summer many months ago up through mid September. Now that mid September has come & gone, no updates.

Calls & e-mails haven't produced any results. It's kind of a pricey place & the gals don't want to wind up there on "folk duo" weekend. This morning, they were running an ad on the radio for an event in October. Go to the website, nothing about it at all. Ugh

Ugh my first world rant happened last week.
I purchased 2 curtain panels 42Wx63L. I get home and open one, put it up and then open the other to find that is 84 inches long even though the package says 63 inches.
You'd think ok that's annoying but just take it back and grab another one.
Well of course that was the last one in that size so then I had to order it online and since it didn't meet the minimum purchase for free shipping I had it sent to the store whkich said it was in stock and I could pick up the following day. Of course I knew that was not the case since I was just at the store so then I received an email saying it was delayed for FIVE DAYS! So for 5 days I had to go with one curtain that only covered half the window. I just got the other one today so my problem is solved but just the hassle was irritating.

Not sure if it’s only a Canadian promotion but last year, Budweiser had a promotion where they were giving away goal light glasses in their cases of beer.

You could sync your glass with their app and when your team scored, the red light at the bottom of your glass would go off and shine like the old goal lights. I don’t drink beer so I was super stoked when my brother gave me one for my birthday.

I synced it up and watched the next game. The Jets scored and I looked at my glass to watch it light up...nothing. I have a faulty glass.

I have the phone number for support so I’m going to wait for the season to start and then call and see if I can get a replacement.

Oh man, that would be so cool! If it worked, I mean :(

Twice now at Panera I have gotten the wrong order. I always order the same thing, the same way - by using a saved favorite on the Rapid Pickup app, so I order as I leave the house and it's ready by the time I'm passing Panera on the way to work. I pull up, run inside and grab my bag.

Twice in the the past couple weeks, I've gotten to work and what I ordered, is not what's in the bag. Yes, I guess it's my responsibility to check before I leave the store, but whatever happened to trusting order accuracy!?

They say if your order isn't right, they will give it to you free the next time, but have you ever tried calling and reporting a wrong order? The phone tree voice literally tells you to hang up and call back between the breakfast and lunch rushes which is like a 45 minute window. Sigh. Forget it...I'll just eat my wrong breakfast power sandwich! It's less of a hassle than trying to get the right one!

SUPER 1st world complaint!! haha

My local grocery store doesn't have Coors Banquet in a bottle, I have to either drink it in a can or buy something else. I don't like the taste of beer out of a can, it has a metallic taste. I've just switched over to Yuengling lager so alls well.

Panera NEVER gets our order correct! We now hold up the line while checking things. How difficult is it to get a simple order correct? Never knew about the next one free...may have to look into that.

Oh my god, this. I get irrationally upset about screwed up orders. Panera here is normally pretty good about it, but that one time out of 20 that they screw up makes me see red. The whole point of rapid pick up is to rapidly grab my food and go.

My hybrid plug in electrical charger often does not connect on the first try. Typically I need to reset it 4 or 5 times for it to take hold! with the green light coming on indicating the car is charging. Sometimes I forget that the charge doesn't take typically on the first try, and I'll come back hours later to find out the car has not charged up. It's soooo frustrating, and first world complaining.

My rant is I don't have enough money to do the type of shopping I wish I could do (frivolous shopping for clothes, not necessities) when we go away.

And my other rant, I was told by my therapist that I have compulsive tendencies (mostly compulsive thoughts) and ever since then I cant stop thinking about that diagnosis and about how everyone must think I am the most annoying person ever because of it. Especially at work, which is where I have noticed most of my OC tendencies happen.

Applebee's has what they call curb side service. You call place your order, give them vehicle info and when you arrive you pull up to the assigned area and wait and wait AND WAIT AND WAIT for someone to not show up!
this isn't the first time ! so I go in, as usual and asked frustratingly about why I bother using this service no one evers comes out and I have to come into the place to get my order? I get a heartless careless apology and they go to look for my order. the girl comes back looking around the bar area like she's looking for her lost kid in Disney , looking here looking there . she then finds my order sitting on top of a cooler in the bar. Really ? get it together people !!
strike three your out!!!!!

I think it's because the Jets win so infrequently the glass was confused :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Our cruise in 6 months isn't going to hit any of our favorite islands. Yes we have donated to them but I love PR, St Maarten and will miss them and the others

My town is dying. We have lost all of our shopping. Target closed, JCPenny closed, JoAnn Fabric closed, Sears closed, Arbys closed, Pizza Hut closed, KMart closed, Carsons closed I could go on and on. I don't drive anymore after a car accident, so I can't just hop in a car and drive to another town. I can't take the wheelchair bus because it doesn't leave town and everyone is too busy to take me. I just want to go to Target. I haven't been shopping in over 2 months because nobody will take me. If Kroger didn't have click-list, I would never be able to get groceries. Please someone take me to Target.

Comments from the peanut gallery were not asked for lol

Comcast. For those of you who are Comcast customers, that's probably all I need to say.
But here's just ONE example-
My cable box bit the dust, so I went to get a new one and was talked into upgrading to a new Xfinity box. (Great, new technology! I'm sure it will be so much better and easier to use!). I installed it, but then had to call back to a Comcast to get the box "authorized". I just got the dang box from you, Comcast, you can't authorize it before you give it to me? Anyway, a mere 2 hours on the phone later it's working.
So, I install one in my sons room. Another MARATHON phone call to Comcast, but it just won't work. I'm told it's because my cable modem and router are so old, I need to update. Because the xfinity boxes connect using my wireless network, despite the fact that I give them no permission to do that. And when I ask the rep " how does it use my network without my express permission and password? " I get no answer.
Ok, so back to the Comcast store to get my new modem/router. I install it. It does not work. So once again I call Comcast. Two hours on the phone, still not working. But, I do finally get passed on to supersecret customer service, which at least seems to be located in America, in a mere hour later it's up and running. Perfect! I am SURE The second cable box will work perfectly now. Nope. Another hour on the phone with Comcast. Still NO. I take the stupid box back to Comcast and get an old non-Xfinity box. Works just fine.
Oh, and at some point during all of this they reinstated my ex-husband as the sole owner of my account. Just because.
