My first trip to WDW and DH's first time being arrested (Dec 2009)

Now, NOW, Lee!! Don't you know you are to NEVER throw away your Animation Academy drawings! It's one of the best free souvenirs at Disney!! I always either use my pony tail or find a rubber band (CM behind a counter) and I roll 'em up and we keep em FOREVER! Yes, forever. LOL

I hate to get into the Star Wars thing but...heh...to me you DO sound like a bit of a Star Wars nerd. ;) There's nothing wrong with that, there's plenty of you out there. :rotfl: I don't even know half of those quotes and maybe we should take a poll of who else does. Sorry Lee...you're one of...THEM!

I agree! Next time save it, no matter what it looks like.

We take a cardboard shipping tube with us to the park that day. It fits right in the backpack. I like to keep them safe!

wow, now THAT is a woman who likes her drawings. :rotfl2:

I do, I love them. I am debating if I will take the oones we have up down and frame the new ones or add to them. Our house is tiny and we are running out of wall space but I am leaning towards finding another wall for the next characters.

A little "Pop vs. Soda" enlightenment:

popvssodamap2.png

I checked it out and I really do live in "soda" country.

'"Want to ride this I do."
"Babylee don't do that danged backwards talking thing again."'

Rig is so funny :rotfl:

So you guys saw the mob gangster right? Too bad you didn't see the western one! I haven't seen it yet in all the times I've been on TGMR.

Hi Lee, Just have to jump in and tell you I have been following your report and really like it. Thanks!! Rhonda

is this awesome chart. I checked it out and I really do live in "soda" country.
:lmao:, "Babylee and Rig's Harlequin Disney Romance." I'm glad you at least find it interesting. As long as people keep reading, I will keep writing.;)

I wasn't thinking of it as a souvenir, maybe next time.

:scared1::lmao:AND....I am not a star wars nerd, I just like to quote movies, really! it's true:rolleyes:

Wow, I guess that is better then folding itup and keeping it in your back pocket.

We saw the mobster guy everytime.

My name is Melody and I named my daughter Harmony :goodvibes

how ironic is that??:hippie:
I'm another Big Brother fan so I understand no new update last night, but I'm sure looking forward to one soon. I was there the same time you were last year, but we were at Magic Kingdom the really rainy day.

One of the first things we wanted to do was Splash Mountain, this was before the bottom fell out. We thought we would beat the rain but when we paused at the top of the last drop and looked out it was pouring! We didn't mind, we figured we were going to get wet, and boy did we! As soon as we got off we bought ponchos at the dump shop at the end of the ride, don't know why we bothered though, we were soaked. That turned out to be the best day at Magic Kingdom. I guess the rain ran a lot of people off because the park was almost empty, we walked on almost everything!

Terri

I know what you mean. once we rode kali river Rapids and it started POURING as soon as we got on. what's the point? half the fun is seeing WHo gets wet, and getting all nervous as you approach a waterfall.. "will I get wet or not?"

riglee, looking forward to the next chapter!!!!

Loving the updates! Keep em' coming Lee!

I guess some people will just never stop with the fiction/non fiction hullabaloo...

silly me! you wrote another chapter! great one, too!

I'm not a big fan of star wars, but it was hubby and my first date!! (back in 1977) (and dinner too, at Sabatino's in Chi Town)

at Great Movie Ride, we like to see how many movies from the end we can remember to put on our Netflix list (like 60 movies on our list isn't enough!:rotfl:)

isn't the pre-show at Muppets great? glad you like the props. If you look up in the pre-show room, you can see a "guest appearance" by Annette Funicello (a net full of Jello!) :rotfl2:.. and at the fake ticket window to the right of the entrance is a sign saying "key under mat". pick up the mat, there really is a key there.

I'm SO glad you guys are having FUN again!!! and didn't call it quits after all the unforseen drama... good for you!:thumbsup2

I was laughing out loud...that High School Musical street show is a huge joke in my family. Any time of day at DHS, this show is playing! By the end of the day, if you didn't know the words to the songs, you will!

We have the same feelings toward "Going down the bayou, going down the bayou..."

That song even haunts me even at the Disney Stores! :rotfl2:

"Rig, you must go to the Degoba system."

"Babylee!"

"There you will find Yoda."

"Leeeeeee!"

"He will complete your training."

"babylee! control yourself"

Rig played right into that one cause I got all excited and said "Control! control! you must learn control."

Rig turned his back to me. "Rig, I'm sorry, I'll quit."

When it was over Rig said it made him a little sick in the stomache and he had to put his head down and not watch the screen.

I have to say I laughed out load about your repeating these lines!!! Too much!!! This is totally something I would do but I would do it to annoy my dh (if I could remember the lines that is!!)

I get motion sickness, I think, so I felt the same way Rig did when I got off Star Tours - my head was all fuzzy and my tummy was all swirly or vice versa whichever but you get my point - it made me feel yucky - like those darn tea cups!!!

Still lovin the report and can't wait for your updates!! :yay:
Michelle

Uhmmm, I'm in IS as well - but why should that mean no Facebook (which I'm on)? What, exactly, do you think people are going to 'find' if you have a FB account? (Or MySpace, Twitter, whatever.)

The thing to do with any and all of these sites is only post what you're comfortable with, and, at all times, keep it sensible. Don't post addresses / phones numbers / bank account details! There's nothing inherently 'insecure' about having a Facebook account, as long as you're sensible with it.

Oops, can't believe this is my first post on this TR. Loving the TR so far, RigLee. Really enjoying it. Keep it up!

Sorry, first chance I've had to get back here.

FB = reconnecting with people from your past. No thanks! They are in the past for a reason. :rotfl2: (that's my take)
As for DH's job, the lower profile we can keep the better off we are, that's about all he'll let me say on that subject. :rotfl:
I was on the DIS before he took this position or he probably wouldn't let me be here now. He just ask that I keep our personal info private.

I have been following this TR since the beginning, and still LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I know this was discussed before, but I would still like to see a picture! ;)

Lee. Stars Wars Geek you are. Yes. Still much training to see Disney. Master the parks you must. Fear not the rides. Feel the force young Lee. :lmao:

I've been lurking throughout this TR and I just had to pop up and say that I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I don't think it matters whether its real or not. Aren't most of us here on the DIS willing and able to suspend belief during our trips to Disney? :wizard:

I say, just get in and enjoy the ride!

You rock Lee! :thumbsup2
